  1. Better late than never. May Karen Klaas rest in peace. Plus, I'm grateful that Bill Medley and his two sons finally have closure over their ex-wife's and mother's heinous death. Finally, the rapist/murderer obviously got what he deserved; to be blown away by the police.

  2. So let us do better she was targeted woman will always be murdered because of men.. my ex would have successfully killed me if I was not so smart to all those other women out their who are in such danger don’t count on cops restraining orders get five body guards around clock

  3. I love changing the ‘Playback Speed’. Go to Settings. Changed to 1.5X and saved a few minutes of my life…😉

  4. 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵

  5. If using the DNA database of criminals to find familial DNA is such a violation of civil rights, perhaps there should be a volunteer DNA database for the express purposes of doing familial DNA testing in crimes. That way people who a) have not committed a crime and b) want to help solve a murder and c) don't object to having their DNA used for this purpose, can make a donation and give a family history/tree. It can't be a violation of civil rights if people voluntarily donate their DNA to this hypothetical database and in case of the perp, they shouldn't have left their DNA at the crime scene.

  6. So, it was the lab technician who made the suggestion, did the initial test, then did another follow-up two months later and found the perp. But the credit goes to the detectives?

  7. Great J❤b LA Detective's for never giving Up Keep On Fighting Right Against Evil😎🕶😎

  8. As much as it would absolutely devastate me if one of my family members did something so evil to someone, I would have absolutely no problem with my DNA in an ancestry type company to be used to reveal the identity of the offender, & hopefully give justice to the victim & their loved ones.

  9. one day in my life I will by a house and driver a car around looking for rapist and pedophiles and kiddnapper them and put them to sofer just like they do with those family's every day of my life I hate more and more rapist child molester pedofiles after 10 years of sofer I would kill them all by knife a bullet dont make you sofer to die I do hope a predator a raper is reading this I will b your worst nightmare you piece of shit person

  10. I'm glad the police didn't give up on this case even though the guy is deceased because if nothing else, it helps the family. Boy her oldest son is the spitting image of his Dad. Godspeed to you, Ms. Klaas. 👼🌻🙏

  11. THEY CATCH THE MAN WHO BRUTALLY RAPED & MURDERED YR CHILDREN'S MOM & YOU GO ON TV & YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO GET A HAIRCUT & PUT ON SOME SEMI BUSINESS ATTIRE? I DON'T THINK HE GIVES A FAQ TO BE HONEST.

  12. One day a government official will hold a press conference and their stage will collapse because of how many people they get to stand behind them.

  13. When a girl told me about this case, I instinctively shouted, "I was nowhere near Hermosa Beach on the day she was killed!"

  14. Well they wouldn’t need “violate our civil rights” if these *ssholes would stop raping & murdering women. Also, I’m pretty sure if it was their mother, daughter, wife, etc that was murdered & familial DNA was the only way to catch the killer they’d have a change of heart.

  15. The right to privacy should not deny justice in a murder case. Murder is the worst crime on the books and deserves a lot of leeway if in the end the evidence is 100% valid. A criminal should not be able to hide behind his right to privacy.

  16. I doubt they “called 911” in 1976 like she said. San Francisco didn’t have 911 until 1981, San Diego in 1982 and Los Angeles in 1984. It did exist in a few places however.

  17. Anyone else pick up on the fact that she was not married to Bill Medley when this happened. Not saying this to be cruel or imply he didn't care because he obviously did. I went back and listened to it because it was confusing. Apparently Medley was her first husband. She had married and divorced again and had a boyfriend at the time. It states that they checked the DNA of all of them against the sample. Just think it's strange that they make you think at first that she was married to Bill Medley at the time, which wasn't the case.

  18. I can barely stand those phony facial expressions she makes while interviewing the detective…I really dislike reporters – deeply dislike them. It's pretty easy to see fake and put on facial expressions. Bad acting I call it…"look at how sincere and caring I am while I extract all the detail I can from the brutal crime…." I believe some reporters are born narcissistic and others developed the ability to suppress their own humanity and ability to truly empathize with others. All they care about is looking good for the camera and to appear to be expressing appropriate feelings during their time in front of a camera.
This phony behavior can be witnessed every day on every news broadcast in every burg across the continent. It's almost vampirical.
