everybody saying the cops did all they could to keep those kids from seeing that, but they really didn't. i know with cops its always securing the "criminal" first but these children really should have been secured either in mom's car or the cop car WAY before that escalated. they were way too nonchalant with them

This behavior is SO exhausting. She had done EVERYTHING wrong up until that point, including slipping her cuffs and kicking and hitting the officer who was trying to put them back on, but SHE is the victim. Disgusting. Officer didn't do a single thing wrong. I hope he didn't get in any trouble.

I was surprised they put the kids in a closed hot car. I assume Savannah Georgia is very hot in the summer. An extra officer that could accompany the kids would have been good, those kids did not need to see/hear their mom being arrested and acting foolish.
