Wife lures husband to his death with promise of reconciliation

This Week on True Crime News The Podcast: Kathryn Restelli admitted to conspiring with her mother and brother to kill her husband, Matthew Restelli, amid the couple’s contentious custody battle. Police say that the man was lured to the home under the promise of reconciliation before he was killed, and the family staged the murder as a self-defense shooting.

  1. People in Utah are freaking nuts in every way. Lived their for 2 yrs and spent that time saving every dollar to get as far away as possible. That state needs a warning label, stating not family non religious friendly. Unless your willing to confirm to their way of life your an enemy.

  2. I love how Ana shared that deeply personal snippet about her own experience with divorce ❤ I honestly will never understand these cases where spouses think, murder will be easier – and better – than divorce

  3. Ana, I will never understand why divorce is just not an option to the people you discuss in this podcast. How does anybody think taking a life is a good idea? I can’t imagine. In all fairness, I found a grasshopper in my home and I caught it and release it outside. So, we are all not the same! Thank you for covering this case. My heart goes out to the kids. ❤

  4. If I got caught for trying to kill my husband, I would never take down my mother and my brother. I would do anything I could to at least make sure my mother was on the outside so my kids would have someone. Js.

  5. Omg! Ana! I can’t believe you actually read my comment about my Sentra on the podcast! I love that you drove it for many years all around the country. I also had my cute red Sentra for a long time. It was funny to hear you talk about how you were afraid to get stoped at a light, fearing the car would stall. I vividly remember waiting to get out of Westside Pavilion (I was a student at ucla at the time) parking lot and my car, not only stalled, was moving backwards down the ramp! I was so scared and embarrassed! Good time…😅 anyhow, I love your show always!❤
