    Thanks for the nice video… For those who are curious to know how this facility has fared in recent years last year an inmate died the day after being brought to the facility… She was killed by celly. Found laying dead in a pool of her own blood at 3 am. One of their male deputies got two years in prison for raping women on the job (i believe at least six women came forward with allegations). The people that have had the misfortune of spending time here know that its not nearly as wholesome as they try to maks it seem in this TV special, especially in the wards that house mentally ill women.

    You guys this is a very nice version of jail. That's really not what it's like. First off that is the lowest security educational unit. There are two of them at Lynnwood which is La County's largest jail for women, and where you go for a long-term stays or awaiting trial. All the other units are medium or maximum security or the mental health units. Some of the officers actually treat you with respect which is cool because that's all that you want to be treated like a human being. Some are nasty it really depends. But you're not getting your hair done everyday. You're lucky if you can get on the list for a haircut and it can take months before you get a haircut once you put in for it. And they cut all hair with electric razors and not scissors. There are so many more things I could say. The classes unfortunately are really dumbed down and targeted towards people that really don't have education. If you have an education on our highly intelligent you'll find the classes very boring

    Bruh apparently the one with 7 kids went back to this jail after 2 weeks are you serious. There are adults who get their act together after bringing one kid into the world let alone 7…. and before someone gets offended and says to not judge, I dont care whether she’s broke or whether she’s a billionaire, who tf needs 7 kids, unless you like live on a farm and need all hands on deck DAYUM

    I think they should be treated like there human not like an inmate with extra rules. Cause if the truth come out on most people.there would be a whole lot more people locked up

    THOS COPS PULL INMATES OUT OF CELLS AT NIGHT LATE N TAKE THEM TO THE GYM N BEAT THEM OVER ANYTHING LIKE TALKING….MANY R DUI OR DV CASES…OR MENTAL ILLNESS…THEY STEAL CARS N MONEY AND ANYTHING expensive EVEN IF U R THERE ON A SIMPLE CHARGE..THIS IS BS….FOR TV …THEY KILL IN PPL IN THERE.

    This jail honestly saved my life! The deputies and all the workers and thru the grace of God I was saved here. I have a relationship with my family iam sober now and iam extremely greatful to all the deputies and staff in this jail

    4:05 Wait what?! They are lying through their teeth right now! All of that is b******! They don't offer any of that. Not at what kind of food they're showing but it's not the food that they're feeding the inmates that's for sure! There should be something that's against the law to lie to the community like this about what goes on in government facilities. It really should be. Cuz they don't have substance abuse treatment they don't have counseling they don't have GED classes they don't have cooking classes they don't even give you pillows and blankets and you're lucky to get a 1-in thick mattress that stained with blood s** and vomit for your slab of metal that they call a bunk bed. I was strip searched by a man! Not even a female a f**** man strips her to me and told me to squat and cough. They don't treat us like human beings all they feed you is peanut butter sandwiches and 4-in long bean burritos and God help you if you're allergic to peanut butter like I was I constantly wheezed and was on the border of anaphylactic shock and I starved for weeks cuz there's nothing no food to eat if you're allergic to peanuts.

    Its the largest in the world yet they show empty rooms. They show 4 or 5 prisoners. Bunch of crap! The 8 or 9 digits this black female
    collects who's
    running the place, probably n her 40s, says she doesn't judge, she cares. Oh bite me liar!$!

    With regards to the women who are mothers, I always feel badly for their children. Not all, but most of the women have selfish, detached tendencies – to a malignant degree, which only complicates things with their children. It's those very character traits that caused their fate, yet they complain. Some are natural cons, while others are not. Being resourceful in prison is vital to one's survival. Some survive with their mental and spiritual faculties in tact, but others aren't so lucky or blessed with such resilience. Our nation's jail-prison system is a harsh, hopeless reality with no redemption or rehabilitation – only recidivism. However, not everyone is as receptive to change, but our system needs a major overhaul, regardless of opposition, which is only a ploy to keep jails and prisons in business – our prison industrial complex. What a hateful entity. Don't commit the crime if you can't do the time. That saying should be modified. Don't commit the crime if your kids are forced to do the time. The children suffer right along with the incarcerated parent[s]. Pray for children ❤💚💙🧡💜💛

    More programs are needed in prison for women the more programs the more counseling they are human beings they made bad choices but we need compassion and they need a skill
    Hope is the answer I wish more programs
    Were offered world with out drugs gangs a world of love hope stability for these women

I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick.     Thr guards at out new jail have said for years, they are more paranoid of the females unit then males. The ladies do get rowdy. Not sure why but everyone gets a second wind when lights went out at ten pm every single night
