The allegedly drunk guy most likely got mouthy with the cop and and cop goes faster to scare him and he falls into the water and drowns. When you are in a vulnerable situation like that do your best to shut the fuck up and be polite to whoever has your life in there hands.
My deepest condolences to his entire family. To his mom and From one mother to another, I pray your able to find some way to stay strong and keep living life to the fullest everyday, like he would want you to, regardless how hard you must find it to even breath some days. Your son looked like he was a wonderful young man that made you very proud, as mine do me. This story breaks my heart, and I pray that Brandon gets the justice he rightly deserves. It’s been haunting me for days, that sonar picture and how they left him down in the cold dark till the next day. That was beyond disgusting, cruel and lazy on their part. That young man had EVERYTHING in the world going for him! It makes me now even wonder if the arrest was even warranted! This is what happens when undeserving individuals are given too much power, especially those in law enforcement, to control the life and/or future of another human being.

This piece of shit had the audacity to complain that he was tired because his fat ass was out of shape and he had to tread water. His complete and utter negligence caused the death of this young man… Then he has the gall to be so cavelier about it.. actually proposing that Brandon may have jumped. No one would have jumped into the lake handcuffed like that. He was reckless and then he was slow to respond as Brandon died. It’s very clear this guy was trying to cover his tracks from the jump and he has no business in law enforcement.
