Common guys, he is the grown ass adult here. Why do they always blame the woman when a man commits murder. He should have got a longer sentence. She should have gotten some time too, as she was involved, but place the blame where it belongs. Why are we always giving the guys a pass and saying she was the mastermind. Yeah, right.
Shannon should've gotten life. He took a life. Hart is the county seat. I'm from Hart. It's a small town & murder doesn't happen often. Everyone knows you or your cousin. Violent crime has increased , but usually had something to do with drvgs until fairly recently.
I personally think the guy was there to rob the place.
He'd either been a customer or had been lingering around a few times, scoping the place out, seeing who was working there, how many people worked there and who was there by themselves on certain days and decided that only one person worked by themselves most days. But, when he saw her hit that alarm, he killed her.
He probably wasn't planning on killing her, just holding her at gunpoint so that he was able to rob the place smoothly.
He'd used a silencer to keep others in the strip mall or other surrounding businesses from hearing the gunshots, there by keeping others from interfering with with his plan.
