Jerry Lee was arrested for her murder. At the time of her murder, Lee was a correctional officer.
I’m from Georgia, I was 22 at the time this happened, I feel awful what happened to her and feel terrible for her family. I’m glad the killer was caught.

Solved!!!!! Yes!!!! So happy for the family that they will get closure. I shot this story and it really freaked me out and she would be about my age today if still alive. His DNA was matched when one of his relatives did ancestry research using DNA. He remained living only .2 of a mile from the crime scene. The asshole drove by the house probably every day.
