Police Captain Caught by FBI Staging Innocent CEO’s Arrest for Social Media

Captain David Boruchowitz was the face of law enforcement in Nye County, Nevada, showing up on the news, social media, and even police reality TV shows. But behind the badge, a darker story was brewing. In 2019 he arrested Angela Evans, the CEO Valley Electric (VEA) – a local power company, accusing her of embezzling services by moving a power pole on her own property. As it turns out, that allegation was a total lie. But the damage was done. She lost her job and ended up filing a civil lawsuit. So why did he do it? Believe it or not, Boruchowitz was later exposed by the FBI to be part of a conspiracy to oust this woman as CEO and replace her with his co-conspirator, Ken Johnson. A central part of this scheme were elaborate Facebook and YouTube videos produced by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office for the purpose of effecting the conspiracy. Despite getting caught, indicted and convicted, Boruchowitz ended up not spending a single day in prison.

  1. In the era of MCGA–Make Corruption Great Again–this is the thing to do. A similar disgusting outcome directly involving an orange pardon happened with a sheriff in Virginia. The interesting part in that case is that he has been avoiding showing his face in town despite it being a heavy MAGA area because they all know he was guilty and the rule of law was simply discarded from on high.

  2. I can’t believe I didn’t hear/know anything about this. I live like 45 mins from Pahrump. I didn’t even realize they weren’t stuck in the power “monopoly” of NV Energy like we are in Vegas. It’s nuts I didn’t know any of this.

  3. This is beyond corruption. The fbi needs investigated to. They had to have been paided off if he was facing 25 years and gets only 3 years of probation. The justice system protects its own not the public and this clearly shows it.

  4. How about giving the "Captains" benefits to the former CEO – Jailtime would be nice (wont happen in any near future) – does this dirtbag still have his license (hopefully not)? At least this is a good example of police (government) propaganda. Soon the emotional support police doing their thing will fabricate (video/audio) evidence with AI.
    Nice beard!

  5. Her lawsuit extravaganza should also include the "news" agency that repeated everything they were told to by the sheriff without bothering to check into it. I would think the CEO has a great defamation case in addition to the suits against the county, sheriff's office, and anyone else her lawyers can find.

  6. Hey John, just wanted to take a minute to thank you for following up on a story from Nevada as a longtime resident of 20 years plus of the state. I’m glad to see our corruption is finally getting brought to lights. Great video as always keep up the good work.

  7. This never woulda happened on Art Bell’s watch in “The Kingdom of Nye.” 💫🛸 (RIP)

  8. 5 Days Ago I Read News…Her Lawsuit Was Settled. $400,000
Not Enough In My Opinion…Oh did see she also sued sued Valley Electric Association…For Disclosed Amt.

  9. This is a Nancy Pelosi tactic, Tell it to the press and put the burden of innocence on the person covered by the press. The whole system is corrupt from the top down. Our government will not change unless a total flushing of any questionable officials happens. Judges, DA's, and entire police forces. I will say, in this case, kudos to the DA for not prosecuting Angla. I hope there is a big defamation case on the horizon.

  10. he blew up her life over… nothing. And his punishment is that now he gets to stay home and hang out with his family and play games all day? His punishment for abusing his power to completely and systematically destroy her life is retirement? He needs prison time. THIS is the corruption that allows corruption to grow. Police see that he just got a retirement out of the deal. Guess what? Why shouldn't others do the same? You're REWARDING crime using the justice system!!

  11. The corruption at a national level is severe. It is now percolating through American society as it descends to a third world banana republic run by a pocket lining grifter who spent 20 years consorting with a pedophile.

  12. No one can trust the Gang Member in blue ! They are professional Liar and corrupt to the core!! End qualified immunity and hold these tyrants personally accountable! PERSONALLY!! The Gang Member in blue are out of control!!

  13. Well, that's what happens in a world where people conduct "trials" on social media and happy extra-judicial penalties.

In the new world, accusation equates with guilt. This monstrous vermin in uniform knew that, and capitalized on it.
