  1. I remember watching this distressful case of what happened to this poor defenseless woman. This proves that society has shifted in a negative and dark manner. May she rest in peace and the cop that resigned should have took responsibility as well. Her family deserves to file a 1 billion dollar lawsuit against them. May God bless her and her family's hearts.

  2. Why on earth would the hospital staff call the police on a sick patient knowing the patient was sick. All patients are supposed to stay in the hospital until they're feeling well again. To me it's heartbreaking of losing the sick patient and outrageous of the hospital staff calling the police on the sick patient knowing that she's sick knowing that she couldn't breathe. Miss Dawson was crying for help saying she couldn't breathe but hospital staff acted like they don't care they just ignored her. It's just heartbreaking and outrageous you know.

  3. Some doctors are so arrogant. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with doctors but nothing beats this. It’s clear you could hear the terror in her voice but they still refused to help her smh.

  4. This has left me so enraged and heartbroken! Imagine for a second rhat this is your mother or grandmother. This literally made me cry. This shouldn't happen anywhere, EVER but especially in a modern society! I hope that they at least show this in the training of police as well as hospital staff so that people can learn from this and prevent anything like this travesty from happening again.

  5. Whenever I watch this, I question how these people can even call themselves a "doctor" or a "cop" or even "nurse"? Dead weight? Why don't they look at the mirror and question themselves or their atrocity? Why don't they look at the the mirror and actually see who really is the "dead weight"? I hope those 3 people see this comment. I don't care if it's been quite some times since it happened. You KILLED an INNOCENT WOMAN. To the doctor and the nurse(or former), it was YOUR duty to save her. And for the former COP it was YOUR duty to save her too. Everything could have been solved if you actually talked to her. Weren't you trained to have those set of skills? (Communication and other stuff which involves talking to people)

  6. I’ve seen in other videos where someone representing the hospital said that a clot couldnt be detected until it’s too late and always fatal, that’s a bold face lie. I had a pulmonary embolism, it can be detected in blood work and a follow up CT and treated. They didn’t listen to her and probably thought she was drug seeking for pain meds and wanted to just get her in and out, it’s a tragedy that could have been completely avoided, I hope the family gets them for malpractice and wrongful death. And go after the cop as well. I hope her family finds peace and justice.

  7. This is heartbreaking to hear her pleas. And I’m not sorry, anyone who is about to reply why I have to bring this up? Because I feel it to be true- had this been a WHITE 57 year old woman I seriously feel would NOT have had the same series of disturbing events- starting with a more thorough initial assessment of testing to FIND the clot. And if had it gone to the point of discharging and refusal to leave- I also don’t believe they would have called the POLICE on a 57 year old white woman. Nor been handcuffed and forced out and not believed when begging for God that she is unable to breathe.
There is no relatability by staff personnel or law enforcement to someone of another skin color, if they can’t have proper and equal care and personal commitment to the people they care and police then they have no business caring and policing a community anywhere.

  8. Surely the doctors would have done a chest xray and seen some abnormality then ordered a CTPA? Even a simple blood test checking DDimers?? How was the clot missed?
I wouldnt put the wrong doing on the police they were doing their jobs they listened to the hospital staff saying she was ok and they followed their 'professional' direction. I must admit when I've had patients say to me "I cant breathe" I always reply with "if you cant breathe you wouldnt be speaking" 🤷‍♂️

I put the negligence purely down to the hospital staff.

  9. America is shit. How do you do this do your citizens? Calling the damn police on the poor woman? Why would she WANT to stay in the fking hospital? Its a hospital. Trashy healthcare in the US.
