Officer Magnifico, Who Lost His Temper, Slammed Kid at Sheetz, Has RESIGNED (but not really)

Officer Rob Magnifico, formerly the chief of the Ellwood City (PA) Police Department, was demoted in June after he slammed a kid on the ground at a Sheetz gas station for using the “F” word while demanding his cell phone be returned, which he had previously accidentally left at the gas station. Apparently Magnifico recently resigned – but unfortunately, not from Ellwood City. Instead, he is challenging his prior discipline, and may actually be making more money, while exercising essentially the same authority as before his demotion. And he’s also the local HS football coach.

    this is just sad that the police even wants to keep cops like this. if they didn't, he'd be fired right there and then. imo it looks like they're doing everything they can to defend him, while also trying to please the public.

    Welcome to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They use Unions for their own means and when that no longer works they just bounce around from town to town. This has sadly become the norm not the exception.

    This is such an outrageous police officer and then to hear he's a football coach on top of it! He and his fellow officer Sgt Bryan Fahey need to be removed from their duties as officers of the law! Neither one is fit for the badge they wear!
    This Magnifico Sgt needs to be removed immediately! Only to be given a raise for his unhandedness!
    While you guys are at it Remove this tyrant from being head football coach! When will these cities learn! I guess once you're hit by a rather large lawsuit! It's coming too!

    Agree about this guy, but I feel the same way about ICE when they do this to migrants for having skin that is not white. It's bad whether the victim is a citizen or not. There's right and there's wrong.

    Civil Rights Lawyer should do some videos on ICE violating people's rights.

    So apparently the Supreme Court upholds the fact that saying “curse words” is free speech, but YouTube still doesn’t. I’m so tired of all these words needing to be bleeped out or censored. I feel like I’m back in middle school. And it’s just getting worse and worse. Bunch of snowflakes offended by every little thing…

    This guy is a thug. He assaulted a kid, he betrayed his badge and community, arrest him, judge him, and send him to prison. He is a big, tough guy, he will fit right in in gen pop or don't that is fine. When someone does sue, all these videos will be used in court to prove the city knew exactly what this guy does and is fully responsible for his behavior.
