The search criticism is moot since none of the charges stemmed from the search. The trooper could've articulated the reason for the search as conducting inventory prior to towing the vehicle since it wasn't legally parked along the highway.
Reasonable? No! We need to fight back before anything will change. These punks with badges have no respect for anyone. They treat everyone like dogs. I think they didn't get enough arss beatings as a kid or something.

Since the young Trooper likes to fight maybe the jury will sentence him to some prison time and I am sure he will have plenty of time and inmates to fight with. These guys that take for granted their position and become very irritated quite quickly. We keep talking de-escalation for police. I wonder if they are failing that part of the training? Our good old friend John (civil rights lawyer) is tracking them Kentucky, Tennessee & Arkansas Police. Maybe they should train them in California at the CHP academy so we know that they received the correct training. Good job in reporting John.

Seth Owens is too incompetent and lacks the intelligence, integrity and temperament to be in any position whatsoever in which he has to interact with any other person. When Seth Owens is released from jail he is suited for working with a sanitation company at best.

It seems like the hiring qualifications for "some" law enforcement agencies today reminds me of the scene when they were hiring the outlaw gang members in Blazing Saddles. Incidents like this only seem to be increasing and the offending officers are often devoid of even a basic level of empathy… which appears to be the root of the problem… the lack of empathy.
