I've watched every AP video. I've also watched countless 1st amendment videos across multiple platforms and Officer Shep is the worst I've ever seen. She needs to be let go. The taxpayers of Scottsdale pay good money for law enforcement and deserve far better representation. Her condescending attitude and disregard for the laws she's supposed to uphold are a danger to herself and to others. Scottsdale needs to retrain officers, especially supervisors to enforce the law and not feelings.
Honestly I am rarely affected by a youtube video to the point where I'm literally furious right now. This police department, and this is coming from someone who is 1000% pro-police in almost every case I've ever seen, but this police department and these officers in particular, are the absolute worst of any police I have ever seen. The one female officer is a flat out liability to the Scottsdale Police Department and you watch and keep up with her, she is without a doubt going to get herself and her dept. in a lawsuit and God forbid gets herself hurt from being incapable of de-escalation techniques used to prevent themselves from injuring others or themselves. If I were her supervisor I would think long and hard about whether or not she has the personality to be a law enforcement officer at all. It isn't hard to see that the Sgt's attitude is where this female's attitude is allowed to stand. They are going to end up in litigation and your video on THIS day, will be used to show a reckless disregard for common courtesy and respect for the public on their part.
They should have an IQ test to be a cop in Scottsdale apparently idiots can get hired

Absolutely unprofessional, juvenile, emotional, and ignorant conduct by officer Carlyn Shepp, who according to open records info from 2022, was paid an annual wage of $92,441. According to those same records, Derok Roach was paid $99,784.
