With its sunshine and palm trees, Florida attracts thousands of retirees every year wanting to spend their retirement there. Seniors who have no intention of giving up their driving privileges, despite their impaired senses. In the Sunshine State, there is no age limit on driving and no compulsory test to keep one’s licence. As a result, the elderly community is responsible for 1 out of every 4 fatal accidents.

In Florida, USA, there’s a particular road that drivers dread to use…a highway more dangerous than all others. Interstate 4 has long been plaguing the local police. In 2021, 190 people lost their lives on Interstate 4, one of the deadliest roads in the United States.

In a country where 1 in 4 motorists drive without insurance, hit-and-runs are a major problem. 8 times out of 10, the drivers responsible for the collision try to flee the scene. This is a deep dive into what happens on Interstate 4 – a highway fraught with danger and disaster.

This documentary was produced by Patrick Spica Productions and directed by Maurice Neyra. It was first released in 2023.

  1. Can you imagine in a few years time when elderly people have started using more electric cars? They have so much more power and torque I mean a cybertruck jumping that little orange thing and going through a window, its just going to keep going out the back of the store.

  2. Why would you say we just cuz she was in an accident that the woman should be subjected to a breathalyzer test unless the officer says he smells alcohol that's the only way did you ever think it might have been her blood pressure medication instead of everybody's got to be a drunk
