  1. This bullshit needs to be handled at the pig on the ground level. End their qualified immunity and sue everyone involved.
Next time Mr Akin needs to have a better door and a castle doctrine to properly protect their home against a tyrannical government…

  2. We need to remember, police officers have a higher rate of domestic violence. The neighbor did hear hollering, the homeowner admitted to hollering. The homeowner knows police policies, so he should’ve been happy to open the door. I kind of think the old boy was up to no good . His wife behaves as a very docile individual . Almost to the point I might say obeying him. I don’t feel sorry for the ex cop. How many people did this ex cop do this to other people if not worse.

  3. Welcome to communist America, brought to you by revenue generation because rich people don't pay taxes and the prison for profit industry. right wing politicians are always screaming about communism and here you have it right here and both parties refuse to do anything about it

  4. If 1 phone call justified them being there why didn't the 2nd phone call with the actual occupant of the home justify them leaving? Why is one phone call deemed more believable than the other

  5. She may have been under duress and threatened by his physical proximity which is why the cops want to separate them for questioning. Cops didn't check on domestic violence like this until the 80s because they got sued due to victims being killed and the general public wanted increased oversight of domestic violence incidents.

  6. Nice of them to clearly admit that this procedure is their standard pattern and practice. That makes it impossible for the department to claim that these are 'just a few bad apples'.
