Kouri Richins appeared in court Friday for a hearing regarding the criminal charges against her for allegedly killing her husband, Eric. Utah investigators believe Kouri slipped a lethal dose of fentanyl into a Moscow Mule and gave it to Eric to drink. She later wrote a children’s book about how children can cope with grief and loss. Kouri wept in court as a judge set another hearing date for November 3.

I feel like she’s giving doe eyes to the judge and it’s so sleezy. Every time he acknowledges her or her attorney she gives these sad little doe eyes at him like she’s trying to flirt and make him feel sorry for her at the same time. To be in custody awaiting trial for murdering your husband while batting your eyes at the judge is wild but from what I’ve heard of her it seems pretty on brand.
