Some might argue that I didn’t have the right to enter the “restricted area” to document the police and fire activity. The LAPD Sgt. Vandunye even said “I cant let you in”. However, there was nothing preventing the LAPD from letting me enter. Proof of this is the fact that in the 35 minutes I was there the LAPD allowed at least 17 people who had NO PRESS PASS to stay in the park and stand among the police and fire officials.
Why not let me, a duly authorized agent of a new service, enter ?
