Houston, Texas — On March 25th, 2026, at approximately 3:57 p.m., a Houston Police Officer arrived in the 5800 block of Glenmont Drive. He was responding to a call about a suspicious male with a pink bag and a gun walking near a school. The officer located a man matching the description. He approached the suspect, Bara’Atef Mohammad AlQudah and gave him multiple commands to drop his bag. AlQudah produced a gun from his bag and fired it, striking the officer. The officer returned fire and AlQudah fled on foot into a nearby apartment complex. The officer pursued AlQudah, giving commands to stop. The officer fired his duty weapon, striking AlQudah. The officer immediately began rendering first aid until Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived. AlQudah was pronounced deceased at the scene. The officer grazed in the right side of his abdomen, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

This guy better hang it up before it’s too late. That was tough to watch, walking up on the threat with an open slide as well. Ouch, lucky to be alive though.

WTF DID I JUST WATCH…THE CRIMINAL WAS LIKE HOD BLESS ME FOR THIS OFFICER HAS NEVER TRAINED TO SHOOT IN HIS LIFE. PATHETIC
As a police instructor I can tell you his accuracy is about average , let me tell you why most officers are t trained for actual gunfights, and to the people in the comments they had ZERO idea how different it is shooting paper targets at the range in a controlled environment, please notice he’s a right handed shooter and his shots went left , I won’t get j to science of why or how many chemicals dumped into the body can induce human error onto the weapon , if anyone actually thinks this officer was using his red dot to line up shots like he did when he qualified they are wrong , on the range he was shooting just physically now he’s shooting fpsychologically emotionally as well as physically ( under U law physiology principles ) almost a dozen chemicals being dumped into the body , that’s why by the time he did his third mag reload, he forgot to even put his slide forward, experience is something you get right after you needed it , you will never ascend tot to the level of your expectations, but you will default to the level of your training .
