Idaho student murders suspect Bryan Kohberger appeared in Latah County court Thursday for a status hearing regarding his right to a speedy trial. The accused killer faces four first-degree murder charges and one felony burglary charge in connection to the murders of four University of Idaho students.

If bk is ultimately declared innocent he still must account for his past behavior and breaking into property.

I hope for everyone’s sake that there are no slip ups or tampering in this case. The prosecution, defense, police and investigators all have their work cut out for them. As for the victims family and Brians’s parents, I wish you peace and strength.
The more I learn about this case the less positive I am that the prosecution will get a conviction in this case. The knife sheath and the roommate testimony is the only evidence that’s relevant in my opinion and I worry that won’t be enough. No motive has been brought up, there’s no murder weapon, the witness testimony is shaky at best and I still don’t understand what took the roommate 8+ hours to call the police if she actually saw this guy in her house, and how did he not see her if she was looking right at him. All it does for me is bring up more questions. I’m pretty sure the police have the right person but proving that in court without a shred of doubt seems unlikely to me based off of the evidence presented so far. I suppose the prosecution may have more evidence and a motive we haven’t heard or saw yet but if all they have is what’s been released to the public so far I’d be worried this guy is gonna walk if I were family of the victims.
I’d like to know what his parents are thinking right now. Are they still standing behind him? I will feel really bad for them when they start to realize they got the right guy.

I think there were absolutely two people. Think about it……they both enter, kinda scope the situation inside…..doordash arrives and one of them says "someone is here" alerting their partner…..killer one goes into xanas room, killer twowaits in the living room. He's nervous….killer 1 comes out after xana and Ethan are done…..he sees his partner is nervous/scared and says "don't worry, I'll help you". They go up and each take a victim, explaining why one victim had different wounds….3 we're killed by one person, and she was killed by a different person. Now, maybe DM only saw one of them, but that doesn't mean there weren't 2

the defense must absolutely GRILL DM, the witness that thinks she say someone with bushy eyebrows, but failed to see the blood which would have obviously been everywhere after 4 people are murdered, i hope they truly grill her on the stand to the point that she is in tears and breaks down, i think DM will break down and say I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS KOHBERGER it could have been anyone with bushy eyebrows, i didnt see his FACE, as soon as DM admits I DIDNT SEE HIS FACE, the defense has scored a major victory.
It's hard to see how extending the time can possibly harm the prosecution. They'll be testing and examining literally everything ever associated with Kohberger. As to trial venue, Idaho is not heavily populated and it's likely the whole state has followed this massacre. Is a location outside Moscow likely to be better? Maybe, maybe not.
What if somehow the preliminary hearing is judged to be …not enough evidence? I’ve never seen it happen, but after being jailed for over 6 months, would that be grounds to sue for false arrest?
OK United States got things real wonky compared to Canada you said he hasn’t even been rained yet however he is incarcerated with no bond how can you be incarcerated with no bond on charges you have yet to be arraigned on an arraignment is when the charges are officially introduced to the court I was a justice of the peace for 10 years in Nova Scotia Canada and I have never heard of this type of situation it actually kinda shocked me how are you having a pulmonary hearing before the Ramen that doesn’t even make sense arraignment is when he charges like I said or read officially and introduced to the court Then there is a bond hearing because in Canada you can’t hold somebody incarcerated unless they have been arranged on the charges I am so confused right now Must be because I’m I was at Justice of the peace for 10 years and unfamiliar with the United States differences with Canada it just sounds so bizarre to me one way to assume that arrangement in Canada and the United States me the same thing it’s process and procedure so I don’t know how you’re holding someone with no bone when they haven’t been a rain formally on the charge formally charged with crimes.,.?!
