And no matter how you hate him for all the crappy stuff he did to families and people, does not make him a killer, and you cannot and should never convict a person because of that, or we are no better than him? ..

I'm wondering if this guy was so loaded with drugs that he became a monster. Since he is now without drugs, I can imagine the reality that has kicked in. What a shame of a life to live that way. If I were him, I'd ask for the death sentence. It's easier than thinking of what you did to your family for the coming life sentence.
