1. Weather Peterson's choices that day were questionible or what there's reasonible doubt and the bottum line? He's gonna have to live with not going in there for the rest of his life anyway…

While i don’t believe that the defendant is criminally liable, he certainly did not do his job to the best of his abilities, or even tried as a matter of fact, and as a result failed those students, staff and families and for that he will always be morally liable. Also, can’t stand the defense attorney he doesn’t know how to do his own job half the time with all those repeated sustained objections 🙄

3. I can't imagine the terror the students, teachers and defendant felt. But they had drills. The kids and teachers did what they were supposed to do.

4. Seems like the jugde and the prosecuters witnesses are biased and have jugded the defendant already. Understand the defense lawyer point of view

5. Love this judge…straight arrow, stick to the law kind of guy. Defense attorney is assuming a lot in his argument that witnesses were influenced by viewing a press conference! He has no clue who watched what. He's probably a decent lawyer, but straying by the wayside as far as how the law plays out in the courtroom.

6. See i dont think you guys understand what this trial is…this is a trial run for charges and trials for Uvalde…..i think if this goes the way they want then the Uvalde cowards are next.

8. I disagree with the people on here who are blaming the judge and think he’s doing a bad job. It is the defense attorneys responsibility to raise objections If he thinks the prosecution is asking questions that they should not ask… He is not raising those objections because he thinks that he’s going to get up and be able to ask the same Questions… ones that he should not ask!..and is shocked to learn that the prosecution is objecting to him doing that and the judge is sustaining their objections.
   As the judge said, it’s not the judges job to raise objections, it’s his job to rule on them!

9. I feel like I'm watching the parkland shooter murder trial….where shell casings were found has no relevance to scot Petersen and his actions or inaction that day.

10. This is a big shot lawyer for the defense and this judge is bound and determined to make sure he does not stray from what is right. I think he may be a little bit taken aback at this treatment. This is a tough judge!!

11. The most ridiculous trial ever. People fail their jobs every day. Are we to throw around criminal charges to everyone who doesn’t follow their jobs to a T. No matter what he would have done, he would never had made it to stand in the face of the shooter by the time the last shot was fired.

Not sure why the nature of the victims' injuries needed to be rehashed as this was explored in great detail to the nth degree and testified to by several MDs in the Cruz sentencing trial by the State of FL… The State here is looking for an emotional angle from the jury that should be ignored in this instance while final deliberation begins. Peterson did not cause the nightmare that day, Cruz did and him alone.

17. This defense attorney is a weasel this was not a hypothetical his client was not sacrifice little children are because this wimp of a cop hid behind a wall he wants every cop to get up on that stand and wimpy like his client did I think it's been improper this whole trial so far😢

21. I don't understand what the state is trying to prove. Especially with these pathologists. Nobody is disputing a shooting happened and people died so what is the point?

22. Peterson was completely out gunned and Cruz had the advantage of knowing where he was and what he was doing. Even if Peterson reaches him, Peterson has to be careful to not kill others while trying to get Cruz, while Cruz could care less if any others were in danger of a cross fire. There is zero evidence that Peterson by himself with his weapon could have ever saved anyone if he had arrived. This is just trying to find a scapegoat for something that Cruz alone is guilty of doing.
