  1. The defense attorney isn’t understanding the cell data but the witness isn’t doing a very good job of explaining it. He should have taken the time to put it in real time since no one seems to get military time

  2. Just had a thought Alex probably tried to retrieve Paul’s phone right after he shot him. Probably noticed he had the phone before shooting him and was checking to make sure it wasn’t someone on the line or recording. Then placed it on him hence why no blood

  3. I agree with the reporters the investigators made some critical mistakes. The first one was when they covered the body. A few years back a guy was killed in my neighborhood. It happened early in the morning on a school day a lot of parents were outraged at the fact they didn’t cover him up til investigators got on scene. They were told they could not cover him because it was a crime scene and it could disturb evidence.

The second thing I noticed was the manner and which they handled him. Never confronted with his inconsistencies.

In one of his sinus of what happened I believe he said he saw Maggie phone and he also said that Paul drove up in his truck.

Not checking the moms house for months later is just poor investigating. I guess no one wanted to offend the millionaire.

  4. I hate to break it to the commentators and everyone else….but the prosecution does not need to prove motive. They need to prove intent if that’s the charge. Whether the motive is “weak” or not is completely irrelevant. They can introduce their thoughts on a motive but they don’t have to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

  5. He says "I did him so bad" clearly. But that may mean many different things in this context – that Alex was not a good parent, that Alex had given him bad example (for example, using drugs). And also that he harmed (shot) him, in this context.

  6. 1:28:11 – Continued, testimony of Sr. Special Agent Jeff Croft
3:30:02 – Anthony Knecht, Verizon Wireless Records Custodian
4:21:42 – Sgt. Paul McManigal, Charleston Co. Sheriff's Office
4:31:40 – Jonathan VanHouten, US Secret Service
6:15:53 – Return from lunch, legal arguments without jury
6:29:55 – John Bedingfield, made custom guns for Murdaugh
7:03:46 – Lt. Brett Dove, SLED Computer Crimes Center

  7. Omg this lawyer I already couldn't stand but this whole MO does that mean it went to voice-mail or someone answered. No that means the call was originated by his phone, that's all. It does not indicate someone answering or not. Wtf is wrong with this guy, a 3 year old could understand that 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

  8. @2:30:00 "They did him so bad" or was it "I did him so bad"?
Are you serious? That investigator needs his hearing checked and the defense team should asked when the last time it was. Did they? I'm watching this straight through, beginning to end so I don't know. Every time I heard the clip, I always heard "THEY". Even before I knew it was controversial, always "they".

  9. I cannot stand his defense attorney! He doesn’t seem very prepared and to hear him insult the intelligence of the witnesses is annoying. I understand that part of the game is to make the opposing side look incompetent, but some comments are just unnecessary.

  10. I played the recording of “… did it so bad” and added the subtitles on this video and watched it at every speed I could do on YouTube, and the subtitles said “they did it so bad” instead of “I did it so bad.” I also hear “they did it so bad” myself, especially when I slow it down it’s easier to hear. It also sounds like he is saying “it” instead of “him” in saying “they did IT so bad. Interesting!

  11. The defense lawyer keeps pretending to know nothing about tech then instantly knows exactly the details on airplane mode and cell towers 🙄

  12. So if the sled team collect lots of evidence they are challenged that they looked at things that (turned out) weren’t the key evidence, and if they happen to miss any little thing they didn’t do enough… riiiiight…

  13. where were all these emotions on the first night when he called and when he was talking to investigators and on the follow up interviews with investigators. I'm not sure what to think of all these emotions, they are coming out now when he is on trial.

  14. 6:23:54 – 40 seconds of Harpoolian trying desperately to find his glasses so he can read the case he has to argue against the prosecution.
Spoiler Alert: The judge denied his motion – I thought Harpoolian was going to cry 😂

  15. Ha ha military time is European time, easy for me. Every law enforcement agent in USA should really know that, otherwise they will make a fool out of themselves, as happend to this gentleman. Embarrassing…

  16. This judge is not about the games. He’s got the personality of a door knob. Seen other judges at least have a little personality before. It’s a very serious trial but not wrong to let your hair down just a little bit especially once the jury is out of the room.
