Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn’t dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn’t have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.

I have a feeling Jambois explaining bias to the ridiculous forensic woman, and using the example of how inappropriate it would be for a judge to have a bias against one side or another and letting it affect how he acted on the bench, was maybe a little bit of a shot at him. 😂
This judge is a mean, arrogant, grump who has shown bias for the female defense attorney sitting closest to Jambois many times. And he seems like he does NOT like Jambois in the slightest bit and it absolutely shows. In my opinion, Jambois using the example of how inappropriate it would be for a judge to have a bias, was maybe a bit more layered than a simple example for the sake of his explanation.
Defence pathologist lives in a witness box and has zero credibility . Dreadful example of sacrificing ethics for a paycheque. Her testimony in the eyedrops case is another example. So glad that Jambo took her apart without breaking a sweat.
I’m rewatching this. I watched it live at the time but it’s such a great cross I’m watching it again. I so wish they’d have showed Jensen’s reactions to this cross and the flailing expert as Jambois literally laid out the facts of the case.

The prosecutor quietly and precisely dismantling the bias of the forensic pathologist is spellbinding! She worries me. Someone in her position with her bias and entrenched views is concerning to say the least.
Sister seems to be lying. When did you meet your " best friend" can't remember, do you know when they got married, when you were her maid of honour? No, do you know where she lived after college? No, did she confide in you about her mother? No, did you ever speak to her about her mother after the wedding? No. Go home lady, you're a fraud.
