Watch Live: Antifreeze Murder Retrial — WI v. Mark Jensen — Day Eight

Mark Jensen was charged in 2002 for the 1998 death of his wife Julie Jensen and convicted in 2008. Prosecutors say he poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then smothered her with a pillow when she wasn’t dying fast enough. In 2013 a federal judge overturned that life sentence, arguing a letter Julie had written before her death shouldn’t have been admitted as evidence. In that letter, Julie wrote that she was afraid her husband would try and kill her. Jensen will now face trial for a second time in January 2023.

Reminder: The defendant, Mark Jensen, is wearing headphones because he’s hard of hearing. Thanks.

  1. Mark Jensen is guilty of murder, this 2nd trial is a waste of time and money!!! I watched the first trial and the evidence was overwhelming even without Julie letter!!! Without any doubt Mark Jensen is GUILTY OF MURDERING HIS WIFE JULIE JENSEN!!!!! Apparently the defense attorneys on this case obviously did not look at all the evidence or even they would know their client is so guilty so sitting there asking these ridiculous questions of course your clients guilty just sit down

  2. David thomson is cool😅😅defence is trying so hard but gets nothing from him!"absolutly did that yes"
    'It was more greed"😅
    Funny to watch

  3. Defense cracks me up here. Especially the male atty. Every time they think they have a win, they act like kids in a candy store. You have lost, lol. Prosecution proved this case already. Bye Bye Marky Mark and the funky bunch 😂

  4. If he did nothing wrong and wasn't poisoning her, I can't understand why in the world he did not call 911 on Thursday? He obviously wanted her to die. If I find my husband is having difficulty breathing and he's not acting himself, I would have been on the phone calling 911 or getting him in the car and taking him to the hospital. He is definitely GUILTY! I hope he has to spend the rest of his pathetic life in prison.

  5. Jensen was just easily played by the criminals in jail. They played on his narcissism because he thought that they really thought he was sooo interesting when they were really just taking advantage of him.

  6. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, that explains why Jensen was telling Kelly he wanted her to give money to his mother. I wondered what that was all about. It's kinda all falling into place now. I reckon this will be enough to convict him.

  7. This judge is so arrogant and ignorant. The way he talks to people is so impolite. He makes it blatantly clear he does not want to be hearing this case and not once have I heard him address the jury in a polite manner. Not once have I heard him say "PLEASE" to anyone. So ignorant. Good manners cost nothing.

  9. Dillard's evidence takes another hit from the defense's case later on, where they show the other two imates in the same jail, and neither one can recall Dillard speaking to Jensen at all, let alone "all night"!

  10. So, your wife can't breathe and needs assistance to sit up and couldn't get out of bed without crawling and you leave her and/or don't call for help/get her to the hospital? JFC what a monster

  11. I think it’s crazy that the defense really i thinks saying all the stuff that Aaron Dollard was facing when he wrote his lawyer is going to make the jury not trust him because I think it makes him even more believable! Look at what he has to loose if he lies.. and telling the truth could get him out of prison so I think it just shows he obviously told the truth. He is clearly a greedy, selfish criminal, of course if he hears something he can use to his benefit he’s going to run with it.. but yeah, I think what they are doing is actually working against the defense..

  12. This case, just went WOW! 🎉…I can’t believe this guy! 🤯And I can’t believe a prosecutor, that would make a “good-faith” deal, w a lying, cheating, conniving creep, like this guy!, when the jury will in most likelihood, just toss the entire load out!…What a waste! But great viewing!…👌🏼….Let’s not lose sight, of the tragedy of Julie & the boys though!.. 🙏🏼… 57:09 ✌🏼🇨🇦

  13. All I want to know is if there were details in the con man’s letter/statement that accurately described facts of the case not public. If there’s non-public details; then I believe it all. If everything is public, I believe none of it.

  14. It shows the defense knows they have a large chance of loosing when they CONTINUE to break what to cross about, and then further argue with the judge. They are scared about the fact they have a weak case. They are grasping at straws

  15. I don't have one doubt in my mind that Kelly LaBonte knew what was going on… She should've been charged with party to a crime… And after knowing what he did she married the lowlife Unrecyclable Piece of Trash…And only divorced him when he was in prison for life ! She knew all along his plans .. I'm loving Mr Jambois… Go Get that Killer once again !!
