A 22-year-old Iowa man faces three first-degree murder charges for the deaths of his father, mother and sister. Prosecutors allege Alexander Jackson shot all three family members on June 15, 2021, before calling the police to report that a masked intruder shot his family. Jackson denied the allegations but told authorities “his father recently told him to get a job or move out of the home,” the criminal complaint said. Prosecutors believe the shootings were done execution style and a coverup plan was in place by Jackson.

This is the third murder trial I have seen where the adult MALE child was threatened with having to get a job, so he killed his parents in retaliation. What in God's name is the matter with these people?

You see the prosecutor pacing, the defense attorney hanging his head. All before the jury even walks in.
Whew! What a waste of a potentially good long life. The proverbially quoted line "shoot yourself in the foot" takes on a whole new literal meaning 😂

I know you’re not supposed to judge off of looks. But I feel like the defense should’ve focused on some PR. Cut the hair and shave the face. This guy looks like he’s already serving time and attending a parole board hearing.
I knew he was 100% guilty when I heard the 911 call. He didn't mention that his dad was laying next to him dead. He didn't call out to his mom or sister to see if they were okay or ask for help & then never asked about them when the police got there. What a waste of human life. An entire family just gone for what? Was it worth is Alex? You gave up your freedom and now your life is worthless all because your dad said you had to get a job.

Well, I think it was fairly obvious of the outcome. I'd be interested to read/hear any psychiatrists examination of him, if (I imagine there would be) done. I always wonder why? And it seemed from the videos/audio, he was behaving strangely. Not sure why they didn't go for NGRI to be honest. But that aside, why?

The defense attorney did a great job, considering. Tough case but he pulled out all the stops for his client.
Prosecution did not present case. He should have been found innocent even if not. No proof whatsoever of guilt. Just because he wasn't killed???? Not enough.

When this trial first began, first thing I thought was odd is that an “intruder†wouldn’t come into a neighborhood at 8 am in the morning, very unusual time for a burglary. People are up and going to work, too easy to be seen and the burglars are home in bed after “working†the night shift!
