‘Two Guns, Two Shooters’: Alex Murdaugh’s Lawyer Grills Cop Over Possibility of Two Killers

Alex Murdaugh’s attorney Richard Harpootlian laid out his case for the possibility that two gunmen killed his client’s wife and son at their South Carolina home in June 2021. “Two guns, two shooters,” Harpootlian stated while grilling Agent Melinda Worley, an officer who collected evidence at the crime scene, about the possibility of two killers.

  1. He's guilty, a real scumbag. The fact that he went home to change his clothes makes him guilty! Who does that? Was he more concerned about having clean clothes than staying by his dead wife abd son? He is a proven liar!

  2. When AM told drug dealer he's no longer buying pain pills from him (after spending est $500k) was life changing for the drug dealer, the dealer's financial situation took a negative turn. Motive.

  3. The crime scene was trampled by law enforcement with no regard for possible footprints. The surrounding 1700 acre property was not thoroughly checked for possible entry points onto the property, such as cut fencing and tire tracks. The woods surrounding the immediate crime scene were not searched for possible evidence such as more casings or the firearms themselves. The 300 blackout shell casings could be easily staged and placed closer to the body. The problem with shell casings being ejected as the main source for the location of the shooter is no cases will eject the same way. In this case, the angles of the shots and the wounds in my opinion would infer that the shooter was in the woods. The current prosecution's chain of events has Alex shooting his son 2 times with a shotgun then switching weapons and then firing and killing his wife from 1 shot from the shoulder and 2 shots from the hip. Hip firing with a 300 blackout would not be very useful even with close proximity to the target and accuracy is not on your side. If you have seen Alex's firearm collection it would make no sense for him to fire from the hip after shooting from the shoulder once. From crime scene data the two victims were not far from each other within 15 yards. This entry investigation proves how law enforcement will pigeonhole a crime on a person even when the evidence proves otherwise. My thought is that 2 shooters entered the property one stayed in the woods as a watch out for anyone coming on the property and the other went for Paul. I believe that Magie came as soon as the first shot rang out and the woods shooter engaged her. Alex Murdaugh is not a good person he is a thief and a liar, but the evidence, in this case, does not point to him also being a killer.

  4. I think it's strange that the wife was at the dog kennels at that time of night. I think the son was shot first with the shotgun, and then the wife was lured to the kennel (he calls and tells her the son is hurt), and then he shoots her with the rifle.

  5. He'll get off he didn't pull the trigger but I have a gut feeling someone was teaching him a lesson there's definitely 2 shooter's however he could have hired some really good hit men but why is the thing that boggles me

  6. Wait 2 different guns?! He didn't do it people need to stop. He stole a ton of money from ALLOT of people and there is 2 guns and no motive to kill them. Ok let's stop with the he's a bad guy so he did it. I'm scared that any one of the people in this comment section could be on a jury.

  7. This attorney tries to put his "image" in the witnesses head. This witness, the pathologist, and he will further try … However he will not succeed it is so obvious and quite frankly not very intelligent

  8. Paul video with dog. He was telling who it was . The as hole tailing him stalking. The one who hired pi.. Some one from hampton. Cause the p.i. done 3 days before murders.

  9. One person two guns. Rifle used on wife was slung on Alex's body, shotgun in hand. Paul gets shot bam, bam. Shotgun put down then walks around corner and shoots wife with rifle. All in a matter of 5 seconds.

  10. Look at all these Karen's and YouTube/TV screen detectives. It's reasonable doubt already, I'm sure he did it, but he gonna get owned for the massive financial crimes related to his lawfirm regardless and he knows it.

  11. As a recent law school grad I find expert litigators to be some of the most fascinating people in the profession. I had heard big things about Murdaughs team and they aren't disappointing here.

  12. Theory: Alex kills Maggie w the AR while Paul is in the feed shed. Paul heard the gunshots, grabbed his shotgun. As Paul exits the feed shed, Alex meets him at the door. Starts wrestling the shotgun out of Paul’s hands, Alex wrestles the gun, falls to the ground and points it upward. One shot to the shoulder, another to the head. Two guns, two deaths, one man.

He didn’t want to kill Paul. He wanted to go explain to Paul why he “had” to kill Maggie. It just happened really fast.

  13. Alex and his surviving son may have done the murders. Killed the son because of the boat thing in order to give people justice and leave his other son alone🤔 killed the mum for nagging and threatening divorce probably taking half the family money🤔 Alex involves his other son in the murders for a sort of earning his wealth!!! Just a theory

  14. Oh•my•gosh! For all the bleeding hearts, watch the Peacock Channel’s “Alex Murdaugh: Death. Deception. Power.” and then see how you feel. It’s Shocking!

  15. If he gets off it will b because of two shooter theory as they cant prove which one he shot if was two shooters wich there def was sumone helping wether to shoot or atleast clean up while he tried to make his alibi.

  16. This is what you call trying to create reasonable doubt. Let us not forget in today's age technology has solved a lot of crime. Murdaugh cell phone places him at the family hunting estate when wife, son were murdered there….right?

  17. It seems the defence was trying to get her to state there is two shooters even though in her expertise she knows what the evidence shows…and she was not comfortable with rolling with what ever he had to say. Talk about awkward moment.

  18. I would love to know what that woman whispered in his ear.. as he was calm, stoic prior and with in 10 seconds of her whispering something his entire demeaner changed ( as tho to get sympathy from jury ) .. Hmmmm 🤔🤔
