So sad for the investors. In small towns people tend to know everyone and it is harder to believe your friends would screw you like that. Yes he was a "business man" but to many he was probably their friend. And people often trust who their family and friends recommend.

Tonight on the menu: As a main, I had British gammon steaks, with
pineapple, a sprinkling of cheddar cheese, and parsley. To drink, I had a
strawberry and banana smoothie. As a side, a butternut squash and feta
cheese salad, with a sweet chilli dressing. And lastly, for dessert, I
had a cookie dough brownie, topped with fudge pieces it was hotter than a
spoon in Demi Lovato's house. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

AGAIN N AGAIN Investors blame others. Investment is a transaction u Enter AT UR OWN RISK! Brokers,bankers,insurance agents can feed u fairy stories – BUT its UP TO U to invest. NO ONE PUT A GUN TO their heads to give money. End of story.
Are people really that stupid that they give someone large amounts of money to invest? Better ways to invest your money, so dumb.
Who gives someone their life savings? Money people saved for 30 years. I would never give my money to some "nice" stranger or even someone I knew
Farmer my white ass; I have yet to meet an obese farmer (edit: even on marijuana farms out here on the west coast!). Sure some beer bellies, but farming is hard work, even with all the modern equipment nowadays, so it just doesn't happen.
Lesson hear folks: Never trust the white man with your money
Don't trust your life savings or retirement money to an investment firm that aren't giving you detailed quarterly reports on what your money is doing and how it's performing, let alone giving you regular options in terms of specific investments that may pay off better / managing the level of risk you are exposed to
