  1. Some of these parents today never were taught responsibility and basic common sense!! How did she not consider hypothermia?? She's so wrapped up in her own self, she can't see past her own comfort😡She should not get a second bite at the apple unless she is closely monitored and has taken butt loads of parenting classes!

  2. Why on Gods green earth would you let a 5 year old decide to stay by themselves in a car?

Here’s another thought … as a baby you carried a diaper bag around that had a change of clothes, baby wipes, milk or juice or water bottles, some finger food for the kid etc. As the child gets older the diaper bag goes to a backpack with a coloring book, crayons, tablet with apps and movies loaded, stuffed animal … that way you bring him in the store or whatever … set him up and let him watch a movie, color or have a snack

  3. I'm sick of these gals using the passive aggressive "are you okay?" to officers! If they think they are deflecting they aren't. They are just proving their guilt.

  4. He's a little sweetheart. The way he was waving to the police officer was so cute. I was sad that the officer had such a gruff manner about her, and that he had to see the way the other officer approached his mother and immediately cuff her, he was trying to fix the situation and calm them all down, poor little thing. Of course his mother was in the wrong, but I wish the cops had been a bit more careful with his tender heart.

  5. Seriously?? This cop gets out of the car, takes this sorry excuse of a mother out of handcuffs just so she can put on her chapstick. No wonder why people don’t mind going to jail… it’s a joke!!

  6. OMG! Him saying, “It’s okay. It’s nothing.” like he’s said so many times before ABSOLUTELY ripped my heart out! That baby knew he had to cover for his mother! Glad she got to use chapstick to protect her lips from the cold.

  7. The entitled sounding flippant attitude thinking she’s done nothing wrong and complaining that the cop was ‘rude’ to her – says a mile off that she’s left her kid in the car regularly probably ever since he was born. A 5 year old does not have say over if he wants to stay in the car on his own is she right in the head? Even if she hadn’t planned an interview at that time, all she had to say was ‘i have my child with me so is it possible to rearrange for another time unless you don’t mind me quickly grabbing him out the car?’ The manager looked like she was sound enough to agree to that anyway. Most likely a waste of time now, even if she did have a successful interview, if I was the manager I definitely wouldn’t be thinking of employing her now!

  8. As soon as he said, it’s OK she’s not stealing me. She’s my mommy, but I have to potty. I started bawling and I am now turning it off. I can’t finish.

  9. Aawwwwww…,, SONNY A CUTE LIVING KID! WHY WOULD SHE LEAVE A CHILD IN A CAR ALONE? ESPECIALLY AT SONNYS AGE?? I can tell he’s a good kid with a ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. I went to an emergency room for care for an injury to my foot. My ex husband wouldn’t come get our son, so I had to take him with me. He was 9 years old and he has autism. When I was called back, they told me he couldn’t come with me and leave him in the waiting room. That was never an option. They relented because I didn’t budge. I cannot even imagine leaving such a small boy alone in a car. SMH

  11. “Have you never sat in the car when your parents went into the store?”… well not that it’s super acceptable, but it’s one thing to run into CVS or a gas station for 6 minutes, and even that’s irresponsible – but leaving your child in your car, in cold weather – for AN HOUR, is NOT OKAY!

  12. That little boy saying "It's okay." is textbook of abuse/neglect victims defending their abuser because they've been conditioned to the treatment. He's been through it before, she's done stuff like this before, and will continue to do so until it sinks in that this is a crime and not some form of "tough love" raising.

  13. I never realized how many mothers leave their children alone until i started watching you tube videos. Its disgusting and is unacceptable!!!! Just terrible. These children don't have a chance with these pos mothers. And the nerve of this bitch to get mad at the police.
