Tech stocks were higher late Monday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.3% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 0.1%.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was fractionally higher.
In corporate news, Meta Platforms 
META said Monday it is allowing US government agencies and contractors to use its open-source Llama artificial intelligence models for defense and national security applications. Meta shares were falling 1%.
