Seattle police say a purse thief crawled out of a burning car after it collided with another vehicle in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Police say the suspect stole a purse from a car, then jumped into a waiting stolen vehicle before fleeing the scene. The suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed into another car, landing on it’s roof. Burglars Wreck Their Car. As officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot. Officers were able to capture him in the area of 44th Avenue West.
The suspect was taken into custody and sent to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the suspect might be involved in a string of burglaries throughout the city.
