Lindsay Clancy, the nurse accused of strangling her three children, remains hospitalized as the case against her continues. “They knew that they had to take the lives of those kids to save their souls from going to hell,†criminal defense attorney George Parnham said comparing Clancy’s case with Andrea Yates, a former client of his who confessed to drowning her five children in a bathtub. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber discusses the parallels between the cases with Parnham.

How much the depression you had to had to kill your children? To killing yourself, I would understand. I think she had demonic possession.
She was thinking clearly and her thoughts were organized. She was texting her husband what she wanted him to pick up for dinner so she could keep him out of the house long enough. She looked up how long it would take him to drive there.
First of all there is a ton of documented evidence of post pardum depression for Clancey. I listened to another extensive view of this story and she was a nurse and was seeking care and had been taking a crap load of psychiatric meds prescribed for such a depression. The one thing I heard is she said she heard a male voice tell her to kill her children and jump out the window. I'm going to come out and say it….the origins of psychiatry are rooted in addiction and the occult. I believe that this case was probably demonically influenced through the mental health issues and drugs involved. Most people don't realize there is a spiritual realm around us and there is a battle going on between good and evil. There's only one Hope for Humanity and that is Jesus Christ. I pray Lindsey finds Jesus and gives her life to Him. In Christ is Forgiveness and Eternal life! We are all sinners fallen short of God's Glory. Jesus died for us and took the punishment for our sins upon Himself! Believe and Trust is Jesus for Salvation today! Time is running out!!! ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™ðŸ™

have all medical assistance removed, she can writh in whatever pain she did to herself for the foresable future. She is an evil B, she never really wanted to kill herself if she did shes a nurse and would know a pill to kill you ASAP! But she forgot GOD, he kept her alive to give her a last chance to feel remorse and REPENT, she is at his Mercy now. Indicating the location of the children does NOT demonstrate an understanding of what she has done or why. This young mother was not in her right mind, probably because of psychosis.
What I don’t understand is, why don’t these people/parents just kill themselves (or at least attempt it, which most of them fail to do, or do it right). How does psychosis differentiate between killing your children (or anyone) and just killing yourself if you think life is so bad? Why kill innocent people,..especially children? If she and Andrea Yates waited until their husbands were not present in order to kill their children, ten what does that mean actually? It seems that one should know or realize it when they have such irrational thoughts and say something to someone immediately to get your own children out of danger. But to patiently wait until husband leaves or when all alone so that no one can stop you from it,..just tells me that they knew ahead of time. It’s hard to understand how a conclusion is drawn as to this situation.
she didn't just wait until her husband was not there, she orchestrated every move he made! and she knew how many minutes she had to do this, and as soon as he left, she started. She is sick, but not with postpartum, or psychosis, but is a narcissist, who was feeling overwhelmed with motherhood, and her kids were gaining attention, they had wants and needs separate from their mom; I think that she felt distanced from them, and no longer cared for them; [ she was heard saying 'I can always have more kids later' ]
The 'experts' can't read the mind of every person who has done this; how are they going to determine who is mentally ill; if this person is just pretending to be mentally ill? These people will do anything they can think of to protect themselves! Lindsey, you are a real piece of work!!
Men don't understand women most of the time; if they are going to say 'oh, some women get like this', that will favor Lindsey, so she can put on an even bigger act!

I will pray for all people involved in this case on all sides. Andrea may deserve an acquittal but knowing how her husband feels so deeply for her I fear he may agree with her to have another child in the future. Who would protect Andreas future children?

The defense team needs to get Dr. Peter Breggin(a Psychiatrist). He has written extensively on the DANGER of psychotropic drugs…especially PROZAC. She was on 13 different drugs at one time…which is HORRIBLE! She fully intended to kill herself and leave this earth WITH her children. Otherwise, she wouldn't have jumped out of a second floor window and wound up as a paraplegic. I don't think that Andrea tried to take her own life….after drowning her 5 kids…whole different story.
We need a community program that connects grandma's ( and a caseworker) who aren't working.. To mom's and families permanently, and offer advice, free babysitting and other therapeutic resources including financial resources to help mediate problems that arise and prevent family fights etc. To promote healthy beautiful families which then create healthy beautiful communities.
Mom's need to be at home, keeping the home running. Your home is like a business. If the ceo is absent all the time, it creates a ton of catch up work where scape goats get created and something or someone suffers.
Society goes to fast, often running over the most vulnerable and innocent. We need to slow down.

Other than both killing their children not many similarities
I just can't get past the fact that she killed two of them on 24th Jan and injured the baby, who died on 27th Jan and that SAME DAY her husband was asking others to forgive her "as he had". How could you forgive someone for killing your children in a couple of days?? Surely it would take DECADES if you ever did!
