I've read up on this slime and watched a movie about him and am still at a loss as to how he was able to get away with his offensive manipulative, immoral and illegal acts for so long. He was enabled every step of the way. I don't understand why anyone allowed him to do the things he did. Such an obvious liar. I could barely look at him let alone listen. 🤢

I'd never even heard of this guy before Dr Grande's video. Sarah Lawrence has a lot to answer for. They had a duty of care to these students and let this monster move in on campus.

I've been seeing lots of nasty comments about the students who were manipulated by Larry Ray on both this post and others. Just from watching the documentary it seems like he spent time grooming and manipulating them. This didn't just happen overnight smh. He spent years working up to the crazy stuff the news showed. Smh

It’s terrifying how thoroughly and violently he broke such intelligent young people who had family support and promising futures. To be able to completely control not only almost an entire friend group of college students but the sisters of one of them – including one who was a Harvard and Columbia educated woman who was in her psychiatry residency is even more shocking

I'm listening to the podcast about him The Devil in the Dorm and I'm sorry but letting someone make you wear a dress or pull on your balls or do labor work on your house etc…etc…I don't get it. How can you let yourself be manipulated like this? Weird to me.

The students possibly did not speak up earlier because Larry Ray was probably the tip of the iceberg. Behind Larry Ray must be a web of gangsters and pimps helping Larry Ray obfuscate and subjugate, coerce these young kids into prostitution. It is not enough that they sentenced Larry Ray. They should have encarcerated the rest of the ring that aided and abated Larry Ray in his quest to prostitute these students. This includes his daughter who was an enabler, a willing participant in finding victims for Larry Ray. She helped her father entrap these young people. Larry Ray should not been given sixty years. He should have sentenced to capital punishment. To mark present for all those other Larry rays that are still out there. What do you want the death penalty for if you are not going to use it. Specially in cases like this!!!

I have a lot of questions! I do understand manipulation. These were several students over 10 year span, that students can come and go? were they the same students? How did he get away with it for so long, and the place where they lived wasn’t it monitored by anyone, was it on or off campus?
I'd like to understand where the family members of these people were all this was going? Also where was his probation officer? In what happened to his daughter?
