35. I feel it's very unfair to state both parents were using the child as "a pawn." This is clearly true in the mother's case. However, his father was a loving dad it seems. I think he knew how cold the mother could potentially be and was just trying to protect his son. He obviously had good intuition when it came to his ex wife.
