[If you want to skip ahead, “Johnny” breaks down crying around 13:20.]

Many if not most of you have seen recordings of dramatic police interrogations. Indeed, a quick search will bring to your screen the confessions of well-known serial killers such as Ted Bundy and Israel Keyes. But those cases are so well known because they are so extreme. Those videos are not representative of your typical police interrogation.

As you would expect, most confessions are to relatively minor offenses. If you have ever wondered what a ‘normal’ police interview is like, this video is for you.

(No, I don’t expect there to be an “Episode 2” of Mundane Confessions. I want to present a realistic overview of law enforcement, not bore you to death.)

*People waive their rights a significant majority of the time. Studies vary in their conclusions, but somewhere between 80% and 93% of people waive their right to silence and cooperate with police.

  1. Bro that cop ended the review and beat him up and now hes crying and admitting it. LOL real sus😂🤣😂

  2. @real world police I say the rate of waiving rights is so high because they think they can talk their way out of it.

  3. "I don't know the address. It's on Potter Street."
    "On Potter? In Russia?"
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, good buddy. When they talk about the long arm of the law, they ain't kiddin'!

  4. I’ve never understood why people voluntarily go into these things. 😂

  5. Men of YouTube –

Hear me now and hear me clear. At the first sign of something being a bit "Off" with a woman, leave her.

    Jesus Christ….

  6. By all means😂🤣😂🤣

  7. idiot incriminating himself for DUI…man poor kid thought he was going get a life sentence for lying to the cops or something so he started singing like a canary…I'd love to know if the cops used that against him for more charges..

  8. He did the Holy thing by confessing his sins. Vandalism, drunk driving, etc… He told the cop everything. He took responsibility for his actions like a man. The kid has my respect. ✊🏻

  9. Oh no. Now he’s crying. Uh. Oh. He’s still going to jail. Poor kid.

  10. Damn that cop is just adding up charges. “Oh you had her phone? For how long” proceeds to write

  11. This guy is a HORRIBLE liar. Giving off all the tells that he’s lying. Should have exercised his right to legal counsel!

  12. Purely out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what those lumps are on the back of the police mans head? I'm not picking on him I really honestly want to know what that is

  13. The Cop needs to prove he did it, hence the need for a confession. Purely circumstantial evidence without any eyewitnesses. Lacking his confession, they would not have been able to charge him with anything. Moral of the story, never talk to police without a lawyer. Utilize your Miranda rights and remain silent.

  14. People always say “Huh?” When they are trying to figure out something to say…

  15. I can’t believe I watched this dumb shit… I thought it was going to be more serious than a dented car door. 😒😒😒

  16. Cop: The truth shall set you free! HAHAHAHA Tell that to everyone he got a confession who was swiftly arrested
