A pit bull was fatally shot by police when officers attempted to serve a restraining order and four family dogs got loose. The Hawaii Police Department said the officer was charged by several large, aggressive animals and had less than three seconds to react, resulting in the shooting. I love dogs (in fact all animals). However, here it's the owner who failed his dogs and the result was this. So sad! But not a crime by the officer.

I noticed Media does not use the word "Pit Bull" any more.
For people blaming the dogs, they were doing their job, protecting their home. The police departments need to stop sending untrained, ill-equipped officers out on these calls, especially ones that can't use some logic and common sense.
Why investigate the officer. The video footage is clear. The dogs were not on leash and it is the dog owners fault
