Rights? As long as you don't know your rights and have a camera plus a YouTube channel we can do pretty much anything we want to and get away with it. It's great to be a cop.

oh gawd, another so lame video from you. Searching a car because a headlight was out… how about pulling a car over, for among other things, a busted taillight. and After talking with the driver searched the vehicle for criminal activity. Are you aware that many minor traffic stops lead to bigger arrests, if it is just a taillight then these cops are likly to just let this guy go, but often a tail light leads to drugs, warrants, id theft, stolen vehicle, DUI, etc… Now you have a problem with police making legitimate traffic stops for safety reasons (broken taillights at night)

amazing how many of these stops involve a fake reason to be stopped for a fishing expedition this is criminal activity by the police!

Stopping this type of police misconduct is very difficult. Usually, a competent defense attorney will be able to suppress any evidence collected during an illegal search. But the officers are very far removed from the prosecution of any case. So, the effect of the illegal search on a true criminal is limited. But in this case, a law abiding citizen was subjected to an illegal search. But the police won't file charges against the officer committing that crime. So, the only alternative is to file a civil suit for the violation of civil rights. An expensive case to pursue. Most won't.
What I would love to understand is why individual officers do illegal searches. Many viewers attribute it to the low moral character of individual officers. But, what is it about the job that corrupts the moral character of honorable officers?
Typical thugs using a fix-it citation to violate fourth amendment rights in the hopes of finding anything to further jam up a citizen.

In order to conduct a more intrusive search, the sheriffs dept should issue endoscopes, like the ones Proctologists use ..ya know! just in case the driver is hiding contraband up his butt…

Same thing happened to me when I was ignorant about what my rights were. The state trooper worded it in such a way that it musta been true that he could search my car. Fkn douche-nozzle.

It boggles my mind how many people will buy a car, insurance and hundreds of other things but NOT a dashcam. Dashcams cost about $65.00. Buy one. When the police pull you over just say "i don't consent to a search". Then sit back and STFU.

Cops are liars and bullshitters. They will tell you anything to get you to allow them to search. Never allow the police to search and don't talk to them either.. They're not your friends. The cops are going to attempt to get two female cop watchers to do some really messed up stuff on camera then use it to screw with them.. I know they're smart enough to never attend any of their parties.
while I agree he shouldn't have let them search, he does have a taillight out. look at when he pulls away from the stop and his right twilight isn't lit. the brake light works but not the tail.
