That's just legalized serial killings, let's be honest. If a serial killer wants to kill, military service in the frontline of a war would be the perfect job. If a serial killer wants to get away with murder, they gain legal authority: a badge of some sort or another. Most serial killers are upstanding citizens. The ordinary violent criminal gets caught after the first murder. But serial killers are able to do this multiple times precisely because no one expects them to have committed these heinous acts!
If he had not been caught he'd still be killing, he was (is) self-righteous.

Yes, he had the capacity. He has some sort of deep hatred for women who don’t “behave “, in his eyes. Whether it’s due to religious fanaticism or psychological damage as a boy, who knows. His attorney seems to think that killing four women (at least) does not constitute a serial murderer.

Oh give me break, I have mental illness, PTSD and I am on 10+ pills but I don't go out and murder prostitutes, this guy is no war hero, this guy has been using his employment and army record to fly under the radar, I would be looking deeper into his past because I really believe he has been active for years but just recently escalated to murder and shame on his wife for sticking by his side, preaching religion to justify his behaviour 🤦.
