34. The sentence seems unusually light compared to others like this. I hope her family sues him for everything he's got.

36. It's important to note the police screwed up the investigation and there was some chance that his toxicology test (which found he was twice the legal limit) could have been thrown out. So the prosecutor accepted a plea to avoid a trial and risk the toxicology test getting thrown out. That's why hiss sentence is 3-10 and not 10+ years.

41. I am absolutely disgusted by Ruggs’ lawyer. He said that his client pleaded guilty to help the family move on during Ruggs’ guilty plea. And now he is backpedaling. If I killed an innocent person and a dog, I would be so overcome with guilt that I would plead guilty because I am guilty. I would not even take a plea deal, knowing I deserve much more time. No one ever gets a lot of time in these cases. And that is a travesty.

45. He should’ve gotten alot longer in prison. If he wasn’t rich and famous I think he would’ve gotten alot longer.
