What blows my mind is how does the city of Philadelphia produce these young killers who are so brazen and ruthless that they are basically throwing their life away. You look at Ameen Hurst, he was 15 or 16 and murdering people, robbing gas stations. Just causing absolute chaos. Where I’m from (Sydney Australia) we don’t have 16 year old kids robbing gas stations and actively trying to kill people. A 16 year old here would be absolutely petrified at the idea of robbing a gas station with a firearm. They will literally run home and call their mum. Sydney is a very safe city and the difference between some of these Americans cities is so huge that it doesn’t make sense. In Australia we declare a youth crime problem when teens steal cars and do a couple home invasions but people aren’t being murdered in the process.
What is so different about Philly compared to Sydney where you have these young teens committing the worst crime imaginable. My guess is they are being coerced by older people to go and commit these crimes. People will say poverty but they dress in nice clothes and seem to have money. 🤷â€Â♂ï¸Â
