In a shocking case that has sent shockwaves through the medical community, two Illinois EMS workers, 44-year-old Peggy Finley and 50-year-old Peter Cadigan, are now facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of a patient under their care. The incident occurred on December 18 when Earl L. Moore, Jr., who had reportedly been experiencing hallucinations due to alcohol withdrawal, was entrusted to the care of Finley and Cadigan. Tragically, Moore Jr. passed away shortly after being treated by the two EMS workers, raising serious questions about the quality of care he received.

Springfield authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Moore Jr.’s untimely death, and the findings led to the arrest of both Finley and Cadigan. The coroner’s report played a crucial role in the decision to charge the EMS workers, as it concluded that there was a likely connection between the treatment Moore Jr. received and his subsequent passing.

  1. Telling a man who's in distress that this is becoming a little silly is sickening to me I think police need to be trained to notice signs in individuals who are in distress that could potentially die or have impending death

  2. One of my friends got roofied at a bar. There were 5 of us friends there and we luckily saw her going through the effects in that vulnerable state so that whoever did it wasn’t able to abduct her. She was acting pretty much like the man in this clip.

We ALL lifted and carried her out of the bar and placed her safely in another friend’s car. Could these group of officers and the male EMT not have done the same for this guy?? And placed him PROPERLY on the gurney???

  3. Both crew members showed absolutely no compassion or advocacy for THEIR PATIENT. Ill never understand why some people the audacity to be “mad” about a call their being paid to run. That’s literally their job. As a first responder of 15 years, never has it been a big deal to carry someone to the stretcher. Even if I know for a fact they can walk. Never do you ever restrain someone face down…ever. And the male medic tightened down that strap across his back wayyy tighter than usual, that looked purposeful. At the end of the day, this crew had been operating JUST LIKE THIS and the people over them did not stop that behavior. And a life was lost because of it. I hope they sit in jail the rest of their lives.

  4. Wow i thought the music was added for dramatic affect… i was like thats weird this channel never does that… then the officer commented on the peaceful music 😢 this is so sad.

  5. She had not a care in the wold for this guy. No medical bag or anything..she only had her Blues Clues notepad and a pen. Im not medical person but even the way he was breathing was a red flag something was wrong.

  6. Lately, I'm encountering stories like these all too often. It seems as though those we trust with our safety and well-being, by acts of commission or omission, are just as likely to contribute to our demise. It's very distressing.

  7. 😢This hurts. Earl tried to get better but no one was in a hurry to save his life. Why is this woman in healthcare!?? She judged him the minute she walked in and it was clear she was not going to hep. Rest easy Earl

  8. I don't care how nice the officers may have been. No one gave earl the proper treatment that he deserved. The lady paramedic was a complete monster and the officers that just stood there and watched him fall off the bed were just as bad. They didn't seem to care about the situation while earl was dying right there. Rip Earl!!

  9. As someone who was in and out of rehab and detoxes for 27 year (smack habit, clean 4 yrs now) the alcohol withdrawal is the worse thing I’ve ever seen in my life
And to say to him to walk when his brain is completely scrabbled and doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not, I am shocked
His whole body will be crawling with spiders etc or that’s what’s he will see
The visual things you see that are not there are shocking
I saw a guy, a very young man put himself through a window pane to get out the unit he was withdrawing so bad and screaming spiders!! Spiders all over me, giant ones!
I’ve never forgetting the blood curling scream of a young man, only about 20. This was in sept 2000, about my 7th detox

Where TF is any humanity!! Sue the cops!

  10. These two former EMS workers, Peggy Finley and Peter Cadigan have been charged with First-Degree Murder. They're accused of strapping Earl Moore Jr. face down on a stretcher. He died of compressional and positional asphyxia.

  11. That stuff is real. Not from being under influence but getting off. Alcohol and or drugs.. I hope earl made it through the second step. Say no to drugs and alcohol. Ur best bet

  12. Earl listening to the birds singing & heavenly sounds, its like the angels were humbling him for what he was about to experience💔they never leave us & always are there to guide us in our times of need💕rest In Peace sir🕊️
