Thurston County, Washington — On October 31, 2025, in the early morning, Thurston County Sheriff Office (TCSO) was dispatched to a commercial burglary in progress near Old Hwy 99. A neighbor called to advise that an unknown suspect was inside of a shop and attempting to steal a tractor inside by ramming the doors open. When deputies arrived, they observed a commercial building with substantial damage, a cut open gate, and a white pickup truck fleeing the scene. A pursuit was initiated for burglary. Chehalis Tribal Police successfully spiked the truck. A TCSO Sergeant deployed the grappler, which stopped the pursuit after just 2 minutes and 32 seconds resulting in a foot bail. K9 Manny and his handler began tracking the suspect, at which point the suspect opened fire. Units took cover and retreated to obtain their AR15s and set a perimeter as SWAT members responded. A short time later, the suspect was located in thick brush by Olympia Police K9 Arco and his handler.

Sheriff Sanders responded to their location and tried to negotiate with the suspect, however he made threats to shoot at Officers. When Sheriff Sanders asked him to drop the gun, he stated “the only way I’m dropping this gun is after I pull the trigger”. After approximately 30 minutes of building rapport and negotiating, the suspect surrendered peacefully. The firearm was located in the trash can of a house nearby. During the investigation, it was learned that the truck was stolen during the burglary and the suspect did thousands of dollars in damage to the building. It appears the suspect was attempting to steal power equipment and tractors along with the truck. The suspect is a six time convicted felon for crimes such as dealing methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, eluding police, and burglary with 13 additional misdemeanor convictions for crimes such as assault, resisting arrest, and reckless driving. The suspect is being medically cleared as a precaution and will then be booked into Thurston County Jail for burglary 1st, auto theft, theft 1st, attempted theft 1st (x2), malicious mischief 1st, attempting to elude, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

  2. This isn't the first time I've seen a K9 officer say over the radio "If he bails, don't get out and chase him, I'll send the dog."
And the guy gets away from them before the dog can get out. Every time. K9 cops thinking they have to be the hero and just f*&^ it all up.

  3. This is a phenomenal video… Amazing police work. It goes to show that the stereotype of all cops being bullies and wanting to use their weapons is not always true. This guy did not want to hurt that guy. And he was beyond reasonable impatient. Phenomenal video.

  4. Finally! A desperate criminal surrenders without a ton of drama and holes in his chest.

For everyone blaming.the judges, they are constrained by the law and the penal system of each state.

  5. Liberal state with liberal judges, so what do you expect? This guy will be out of jail in less than a year. That's why I will never see the west coast in my life. Fk CA, OR, and WA.

  6. These multi time felons prove over and over and over that rehabilitation DOES NOT WORK with them. Put them in prison and throw away the key. And put the corrupt, activist judges and DA's in there with them!!!

  7. Nothing like another POS six time convicted career felon to continue terrorizing the Democrat voting citizens of Washington State. Soon he'll be released to continue his felony ways until he puts somebody in the grave. True story!!

  8. The suspect is a six time convicted felon for crimes such as dealing methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, eluding police, and burglary with 13 additional misdemeanor convictions for crimes such as assault, resisting arrest, and reckless driving.

Washington needs some Judges and DAs with some balls. WTF is he even on the streets for😡

  9. It is a crying shame our LEOs have to risk being shot every day by people like this, and "judges" and
Let's-Make-A-Deal DAs keep putting these people back on the streets.
Yet the LEOs keep showing up for their next shift.
Remember that the next time you hear someone trash talk the police.

  10. some poor SOB is going to end up buying that Ford at auction then wonder why with only 48,000 miles on the clock, it smokes, bangs, and spews every fluid onto the gorund….also mysteriously pulls left after multiple alignments.

  11. Another example of a fine, innocent, and productive member of society getting all the attention and compassionate help he deserves. Hopefully for the 25 years in state prison!

  12. The judges are letting these people out so that they can continue to commit crimes. The plan is simple, to continue to take away our rights so that they can then claim they are doing it for our own protection. 🦉
