A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly shooting her terminally ill husband at a hospital on Monday. Authorities said the killing was part of a murder-suicide pact between the married couple. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber and former assistant SWAT team leader Chad Ayers break it down.

A couples love rises above all else. This couple had a plan and I don't blame them for what happened. The woman needs to be left alone, she's already "had it", let her live out whats left of her life.
This is a perfect example of why euthanasia should be legal and available to those suffering from terminal illness. Someone should have the right to decide whether they want to keep suffering under an illness without any hope or go peacefully. I just feel sad for this woman. She is going through the worst experience of her life and it just got worse for her.
Forcing people to suffer in pain until they die in agony from terminal illness is not “pro lifeâ€. People should be allowed to make the choice to receive compassionate euthanasia from a RN or doctor. This country has its priorities completely warped.
Our healthcare system is entirely broken.
Try That In A Small Town
"Allegedly"
Why do they always say that? 😂 she did it. Not allegedly lmao
Leave her alone that’s how they want to go
WHAT??? He wanted her to kill herself too? But there was nothing wrong with her health. Husbands actually do this? Wow.
I agree, and feel so bad for this woman. She knew she was doing some thing about her husband would’ve wanted. Something has to be done as far as Al Kevorkian was trying to do. To see a loved one just disintegrate before your eyes with an illness. It’s just so terrible and inhuman.
Very sad.
God Bless this lady who had to endure the misery of watching the love of her life suffer. The emotional anguish stops life in its tracks.
This story encompasses so much of the profound aspects of the human experience, this story should be humanizing and invoke empathy. Just remember that we are also talking about life and death so don't degrade the comment section to a place where belief is reduced to mere self-absorbed outbursts filled with intolerance for the beliefs of others. If this story doesn't soften you and make you feel LIFE, if instead you feel righteous anger and the need to have everyone know it then you are looking for the political videos.
They flashbang a 70 year old woman
She looks so stoic. Probably not in her normal mind. It can be exhausting taking care of a terminal patient. I did it. I never considered this.
She didn’t keep her end of the pack 😂…really sad to be so sick you’d rather die 🙠prayers for their souls
What is in that Florida water ðŸ§
Your actions don’t make sense. He was terminal and in the hospital and now she’s put herself in a terrible position. I don’t get her reasoning.
This is truly sad! Prayers 2 all involved! ðŸ™ðŸ»
I feel that WE Our OWN SELF Should BE ALLOWED to SAY When WE have HAD ENOUGH…..ESPECIALLY when the END Game is DEATH…
WHY Make someone go Through so much before and suffer until they DIE….I had someone that I LOVED that had Cancer it was HORRIBLE for Her and the Family…..This Country NEEDS to Look at DEATH DIFFERENTLY……
Watching from VIRGINIA 🌹
The hospital wanted every last dime of that insurance money
Just imagine what it must have taken her mentally to do that.. To the person she loved with all her heart 😢.. This lady must be devastated, but relieved that he’s no longer suffering.
I don’t believe she should be charged with murder or even go to prison for this. I’ll pray for her and her husband. God rest his soul, may he now rest in peace 🕊ï¸.
I hope this serves as an example to ALL AGAINST euthanasia, to see the extents people are having to go to, to end their loved ones suffering and in many cases their own! â¤Fight for Death With Dignity!! Fight for the Right To Legalise Euthanasia!!â¤
😳That was their best at de-escalation ?! Yelling at an old woman in crisis…at her husband's deathbed??!
They are in a HOSPITAL, and there is not one person there with the ability to talk her through? 😡
🦋 My husband just passed Dec.30, 2022 from a terminal illness. We had been married 31 years, and was just 12 days short from our 32 year anniversary. I took care of him in our home for the last 6 years, and we had a great support sytem from hospice. It got extremely difficult especially the last 3 years, then @ its worst this past year. I never thought of killing my husband, nor did he ever suggest it. I just think that every circumstance is different from someone else's, so I don't like to size my husband, and to say, this lady that shot her husband out of love.
I truly believe that when parties agree to this ending because of one, or sometimes both are very ill to terminally ill, that this is to stop the suffering of pain, and there is no more quality of life left, just suffering in pain. I do get it, I do understand, and I don't think she's a danger to society, or that she killed her husband out of rage, or maddness, I believe it was just as she said, and I am quite sure this was the hardest thing she ever had done in her life. The 1 thing that she did wrong, was to do it in the hospital where there are a lot of people sick, and scared, along with the staff that were probably a bit scared. She should of at least done it @ home. I think they should release her, and give punishment for doing this in the hospital. Perhaps home arrest for a while with probation.I think we are going to see more of this going on. Maybe we should check out how Canada handles there mercy killing out of love.

I feel for the couple, she loved her husband
Cops are so annoying.
Egotistical cops 😂. Acting like they’re so cool pointing a gun at an elderly lady who is not a danger to society.
