This is so sad, it reminds of my cat that got her head stuck in our soccer net. We were out for the whole day, and just left a whole lot of food for herIn case she got hungry, but when we returned, we found her neck tied up so bad, and her head so swollen, we had to rush her to the vet.
I’m just glad we got to her in time and that she’s fine now , because I’m sure if we returned to the house just an hour later, she wouldn’t be with us anymore. I’m just glad that wasn’t the case.

Why on earth would the dude let the cat suffer all night long in terror and pain instead of taking care of it himself…or if he needs help his family/neighbors? That would preserve police resources, build neighbour relations, and help the damn kitty way faster? No?
