Cops Left Part of Paul Murdaugh’s Skull at Family Murders Crime Scene: Witness

An attorney and former friend of Alex Murdaugh’s took the stand Wednesday and testified about what he saw the day after Maggie and Paul were murdered in June 2021. Mark Ball, who worked with Alex at the PMPED law firm, stated he observed a large piece of Paul’s skull left at the crime scene that was the “size of a baseball” after SLED agents finished collecting evidence.

  1. As someone who almost went into forensics in college and did a lot of studying to go to a forensic school, this is breaking federal standard code. You cannot absolutely not, allow family members or people to be walking around without booties during an act of crime scene. The fact that the cops and the forensics investigators didn't have booties on is absolutely against policy! The whole purpose of wearing booties is to eliminate who was wearing the shoes that were tracked at the time of the murders. That whole entire property including their home should have been part of the crime scene. Everything! They should have checked other shoes, people should not have been allowed in the house to do the laundry, and family members should not have been allowed to walk on the crime scene and pick up pieces of evidence that should have been collected

  2. Who else thinks that Alex's father ordered Alex to committ these murders to save the family name? Maggie and Paul had to be eliminated. Paul was in his own mess that wasn't going away ever and if Maggie was really going to divorce Alex…….makes sense to me. Mr. Murdaugh was the matriarch of the family…….I am guessing he ordered Alex to make the scandals go away. Kill them and make it look like the boat people did it in revenge. Sadly, Alex screwed it up.

  3. Looks like Alex got a little upset when this guy was talking about how he showed the cops that there was a gun in the gun rack that the the police were looking for that they overlooked.

  4. what a monster!!!, i love my kids so much no amount of money no body theating me could ever make me kill anything let alone my son!!!i dont understand this at all and maggie was so beuatifull they liked living its not fair

  5. The cops usually don’t do the clean up. Maybe they left it up to the murderer to clean up his own property and the sickening mess his ruthless actions created! It shouldn’t have been up to his brother to show respect to the victims and clean up what Alex did to his own family members!

  6. John Marvin cleaning up was crazy! I've NEVER heard of any family member doing something that unusual. Unless it was to hide evidence that may have been left.

  7. opinions are like a holes ,,,everyone has one and mine is I dont think he did it ….I think people got fed up with them and the crime they got away with and took matters into their own hands …and rightly so

  8. That ENTIRE perimeter should have been taped off. He could’ve “pre planned” a place out in the woods to hide something. And even there’s nothing in the woods, it still should’ve blocked off.
And the defense tried to make it seem like all of the Cops were a bunch of keystone cops. But every crime scene could be more efficient and handled better. These cops and SLED agents weren’t that bad.HOWEVER, THE PERIMETER SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPANDED.

  9. Mark Ball spoke about someone named CB Roe(?). Id like to know why his truck didn't have a license plate on it if it had been driven onto the Moselle property and parked not far from the 'kill zone' and why was there a bottle of CLOROX in the back! What was it going to be used for? When he spoke of that, I have NOT stopped thinking about it.

  10. I hate it when the defense calls their own witness and the defendant sits there with his histrionics – the witness has been coached on what to say, how to respond and what questions he will have ..! It’s ridiculous! This clip is embarrassing! You see this guys hand gestures and the tone of the defendants lawyer plus the acting Alex did 🤮 makes me disgusted

  11. Everyyyytime I see Alex “crying” I just don’t buy it!! Looks so fake and no tears just him rocking himself and acting distraught. He neverrrrr has actual tears. The jury said so as well. He rubs his eyes to seem like he’s upset but it’s alllll for show. He is where he belongs.

  12. A father listening to graphic descriptions of his child’s remains splattered on a wall would be sobbing and so overwhelmed with grief. He just stares at the desk, chomping on his gum and doodling. That’s because he doesn’t want to hear it and face his actions. Who could just sit through this with a blank face and no emotions.
