A quick update on this: We were able to independently confirm that the victim was rescued prior to the suspect taking off.
When that truck rolled, my hands were on my head in panic, thinking about the victim in the back of the truck. Hope he’s doing okay!

Female cop waited way too long to tase the perp approaching her. After he continued walking towards her after the FIRST command, she should have acted; certainly after the second! Decisiveness in these situations is paramount. And why didn't she shoot him?

I'll be honest, I'm surprised the female cop didn't switch to her gun after the taser kept failing and he started closing in on her. Fair play though she fought like hell but that could've ended really badly. The crazy bastard attacking her is lucky he didn't get shot point blank. I'm guessing next time she'll be switching to her gun much quicker. Crazy situation.
