The Buffalo mass shooter received a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for the hate-fueled massacre that left 10 people dead and three others injured at a grocery store in New York in May 2022. The shooter, Payton S. Gendron, “apologized†for the killings at sentencing, while relatives of victims gave powerful impact statements describing the tragic outcome of his hateful actions. not all, but a lot of these mass shootings are government sponsered that way they can keep enacting stricter gun laws that eventually take guns from law abiding citizens, like the one at the texas elementary school, how did an unemployed 18 year old buy two assault rifles, hundreds of rounds of ammo and body armor, why did the police officer just walk by him when he was going to the school with a weapon in his hand, why did the officers just sit in the hall listening to all those kids being executed and do nothing?

This comment section is full of people who think that the death penalty saves money and believe in something called a deterrent that stops people mass shooting. Haven't you seen that they often shoot themselves at the end of it? What's going to deter a person who's ready to kill themselves from how they want to spend their last days? We need to help the mentally ill and suicidal not be willing to throw their own lives away, that's the only deterrent that's going to work. Basically we need more mental health funding and less hate in the world.
The judge should let the victim’s family members at him. He deserves no protection.
They shoulda took him up in a plane skydiving, and instead of a parachute, they shoulda strapped a backpack full of bricks on him and tossed him out at 15,000 feet over the Arizona desert.

There is no justice here dear friends, he killed 10 people, anyone in this life who kills 2 or more people (with intent) then he deserve to either be executed, or given to the families of the deceased to do what they want with him.
