Bodycam footage released by the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office shows accused Michigan State University shooter Anthony McRae getting arrested for carrying a concealed handgun without a permit in 2019. what a crock of bull there is no permit needed in the state of Alabama everybody carries a gun here in there pocket for protection that tells me don't go to the State OF Michigan
Then they say "Based on our gun laws, he shouldn't have been allowed to have a gun." Yeah. You can't stop mass shooters from finding a gun anywhere in America.
Do you have your government permission slip to enjoy the second amendment?
So the Prosecuter's Office let's this guy off easy, and years later he uses a gun to kill several people at a school then. Wow …
Our criminal justice system has no teeth. It's a revolving door that keeps bad guys on the street until they do something really bad. Then they get 18 years, and they're out in 7.
I do not believe he was reaching for his cigarette 🔫
He bought the gun at a pawn shop. Gun sales could be regulated at time of sale. Lists of problem gun owners, like domestic violence offenders, and the age of the customer, should prevent certain gun sales.
He killed college students?
Someone can throw a knife and kilo them 😮so what are we going to take all knives away from people
Everyone was saying he’s nice but if the officers knew who they were dealing with I’m sure it would’ve been a different outcome 😢
McRae, “can I go to prison for thisâ€. Officer “their going to talk to the prosecuting attorney about this okâ€? McRae “but I canâ€? Officer, “it’s not up to us it’s up to the circumstances around the situation ok? It does depend on his criminal history. Officer “and you have no criminal history†McRae no.
Of course that helped Anthony McRae’s court case of him not going to prison. If Anthony McRae would of got sentenced to prison for 5-10 years for carrying a concealed firearm.
The 8 MSU students 5 would of not been injured by gun violence, including the unfortunate 3 that passed away would be here today. God bless their souls. God bless their families, friends and all that knew them. You will never be forgotten.
You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Wow I’m so frustrated and angered. 😡
Over 3 years later almost 4. He would kill 3 and injury 5 others including taking his own life. This just angers wish there could of been more done to prevent this heinous act on these MSU students from happening.
Should of put him on a watch list for someone carrying a dangerous weapon. Should of flagged it. That could of helped.
when he said whats the word i had to make sure he said that this cop Too hipp😂
These two keep talking about the gun being registered. how does one go about registering a gun in the state of Michigan?
Is that edp445?
Guy keeps askin him you know your not post to carry it to get him to get a unlawful Carry
When Anthony McRae died, he was carrying two 9 mm handguns, both purchased legally, neither of them registered. He had eight loaded magazines in a backpack along with two empty magazines and a pouch filled with 9 mm ammunition.
McRae, 43, killed three people on Michigan State University’s campus : Brian Fraser and Arielle Anderson, both sophomores from Grosse Pointe, and Alexandria Verner, a junior from Clawson. He wounded five others. When two Lansing police officers confronted him near the intersection of Lake Lansing Road and Larch Street, ordering him to show his hands, he turned the gun on himself without saying a word.
The note they found on him listed a handful of targets. not just MSU but businesses that McRae seems to have had contact with, including the Meijer Distribution Center in Delta Township where he had worked and other places where employees had asked him to leave. While I do not condone his actions, I feel any loss of life is tragic. His life could have gone a different way had sought help for those personal demons he was dealing with. Unfortunately for him, and those who were killed in the university shooting, the demons won.

There is an old Cherokee parable about an old/wise Cherokee who is teaching his grandson about life. He tells his grandson the following: “A fight is going on inside me,†he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil, he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.†He continued, “The other is good, he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too.†The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?†The old Cherokee looked strait into the boys eyes and simply replied, “The one you feed. the mostâ€

Whether or not it’s your first time hearing this story, it serves as an important reminder of the power we have over our experiences and emotions. It’s easy to feel like a victim in challenging situations and circumstances in our lives. We want to understand our negative thoughts, feelings and experiences, so we place blame on other people, objects, or events. We look outward to try to make sense of what’s going on inside of us. We do this all the time. Why? It’s our way of coping, and feeling more in control of uncontrollable situations.
The problem with this approach, however, is that it takes away our personal responsibility and freedom of choice. In our attempt to feel more in control (by faulting others for our experience) we actually strip ourselves of our own power. That power is lost the moment we become dependent on other people or things to make us feel a certain way. Whether that feeling is positive or negative, we are no longer taking sole responsibility for our own emotions or experiences when we believe that they are a result of anything other than our own choice.
By exercising your freedom of choice, you can make a life-changing decision of which wolf you want to feed. Do you feed the wolf who is hungry for anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego? This evil wolf is also your inner critic. The one who tells you that you are a failure, the one who says that no one will love you or understand you for who you are. This wolf is a representation of your depression, your anxiety, and your low self-esteem. Do you want to feed this wolf? Are you feeding him already?

Revelation 12:12. "Woe to you, earth and sea, for the Devil has come down to you in great fury, for he knows he has but a short time.â€
1 Peter 5:8. "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."
5:01 Looks like he had a Ruger .380 LCP . Not a bad little pistol for conceal carry.
Excuse me, I am not being difficult here, but if you inform the officers that you are in possession of the firearm, is it truly concealed????
Seems to me that if I tell you that I have a gun then I didn't conceal it….just wondering
Look at those gun laws deterring mass shootings!
so if they just enforced the gun law that he broke, the MSU shooting would not have happened. we don't need more gun laws, we need to enforce the ones that we have. soft on crime prosecuters also need to be held liable for repeat offenders.
Concealed or open carry the state of Missouri is legal
What an outstanding officer tho…
To the fools out there that think that you should have to have a permit to be able to protect yourself, I say fawk you and the horse you rode in on. I have a god-given right to protect myself by any means necessary and I'll be damned if any human beings going to take that away from me.
police cams seems to be very good investment…
This just popped up as a new notification but it was posted 2 days ago?
Aww. Poor Taylor. Sweet little Taylor. Too bad she didn’t give the innocent guy she killed the same treatment they are giving her.
a lot can happen in 4 years
I’m sure MSNBC and CNN will be all over this.
….oh wait
Had the Soros backed prosecutor not pleaded this case down to a misdemeanor the shootings wouldnt have happened.
He was nice. But cops are human. You arnt supposed to at nice. Your supposed to get things done. Once a person is detained is when you’re supposed to be respectful. Every situation is different. If he had to aggressive he has every right to make sure he doesn’t get his face blown off.
A real maniac thank goodness he is not in society anymore.
Shot all those people up because he felt “slightedâ€. “Men†can be such snowflakes.
he asked the same questions and repeated the scenario for him
he can stop the "buddy "
"Your detainment just turned into an arrest."
For a guy that goes from mowing down all of those innocent people, to subsequently now be standing in front of an officer, acting so effortlessly calm, cool & collected, is just totally creepy & weird af.
Yesterday the media was reporting that the suspect in the MSU shootings was deceased…???
