2. I got pulled over last night after wine tasting with a friend and got a sobriety test. I think it was because I had a bottle of wine I bought in the passenger seat, unopened of course. He made me do the follow his finger thing, 9 steps and turn and hold my foot up. He was such a nice officer and let me go with a warning for speeding (which is why I got pulled over and I was speeding). I told him how I watch live PD and bodycam stuff all the time and I feel like I’m in an episode

3. Those Field Sobriety Tests!!!! I’d be skipping that. Law has the burden of proving a violation, so why, except under duress, would I give proof against me? And be bored senseless in the process? What’s unspoken & unacknowledged by the cop & the driver—the outcome was decided as soon as the car was stopped.

4. I don’t get why field sobriety tests are even a thing. In pretty much every other country, they just go straight to the breathalyzer.
