  1. "After finding…." He means "after killing them…." He comes from a line of WHYte men who were the LAW in that part of the country. They got away with PLENTY that we don't know about. Hampton was probably a "sundown" town in the elder Murdaugh's time. He thought he would walk away from this… just as Paul thought he would walk away from the boat crash incident. These were millionaires living among and exploiting working-class and poor people, who had to travel great distances for gainful employment.

  2. Was the lawyer who was with him charged? I remember in the interview him claiming he didn’t know about the other charges or something, that they were only there to get a update.

  3. His own brother called him a serial liar. He lied about getting permission to put blue lights in his car. It was inconsequential and he still lied

  4. Having a lawyer come to the scene of the crime is highly unusual & suspicious as heck. I could understand if he waiting til he got down to the station but at the scene seemed ludicrous & made him look hella guilty.

  5. Hey Floyd, what do you think about his grounds for appeal? I think a few of those recent juror interviews could be really helpful for him 😬

  6. Hi Floyd, nice commentary! I'm a retired paralegal and have watched many true crime shows (as well as quite a few L&O). I've always told my kids if they're brought in for questioning, say not a word, and get a lawyer if they continue to harass or if they arrest you. I don't fault Alex for having his attorney present during questioning – cops can be grotesquely aggressive in questioning. I fault him for killing his wife and son.

  7. Thank you for this video 😊 I think you always need a lawyer. I have learned police and prosecutors lie at any cost, even to grand juries to get indictments!

  8. Drugs ate his brain. What excuse do the others involved in these crimes have? Crooked bankers, crooked law enforcement, crooked lawyers. What did the brothers do with the guns?

  9. What was disturbing about this case was there was no piece of evidence that proved conviction,.
However I think it was character issues that convicted him, number 1 he embezzled money from the the law firm his grandfather founded. 2 He also is likely responsible for the death of his maid who served his family for over 20 years, and help raised his kids

Alex Murdaugh was a evil dishonest man. There was one incident in which he held money for himself from a law suit from one of his clients. Alex Murdaugh possessed no redeeming qualities at all, considering these factors its very likely he committed these crimes.

  10. "I DID HIM SO BAD!" 😓 ZOOM in on Jim Griffin (lawyer) sitting in the back seat of the vehicle, when those words were uttered! 😮

  11. How does one "get a lawyer" ?I know you can get a public defender (I think?) But if not, do you just walk into a random lawyers office and say "will you be my lawyer if I ever need one?" Do you have to pay them if you never need them?
I've often wondered for people who have never been in trouble a day in their life, not so much as a speeding ticket such as myself, how they can say "I want to call my lawyer"?Are public defenders as good as lawyers you hire? (Never had a need to know but I guess I always thought public defenders that are assigned to you, you don't pay for?)
