A Pastor Threatened to Sue Us Over This Video

UPDATE: After we published this video, the (now former) pastor told us that we needed to take down the video or he’d get his “attorney involved.” He was also very insistent that he resigned and was not fired. We’ve updated the description accordingly.

  1. UPDATE: After we published this video, the (now former) pastor told us that we needed to take down the video or he'd get his "attorney involved." He was also very insistent that he resigned and was not fired. We've updated the description accordingly.

  2. Claiming he’s a pastor isn’t the flex he thinks it is. It would make me more suspicious knowing he’s a snake oil salesman and a charlatan πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ

  3. The worst people are found in the Churches. Christianity doesn’t seriously require that you work on yourself as an individual. You can do the most atrocious crimes, as long as you ask for forgiveness on your death bed, up to Heaven you go. It isn’t about who is a genuinely good person, it’s about who can praise God, without question, the most. You can be the kindest soul, if you don’t accept Jesus, you’re going downstairs. He already paid the price for all their sins, just believe and be saved. That’s why I left, the system is not fair. Just look at the deeds of some Old Testament Heroes.

  4. the Bible literally says to not trust false prophets, this is why i live my live like one of the old testament pastors and just study my bible and talk with God, every time i sit in a church it feels like im having my pockets run by the church because churches dont ask for tithes, they demand them, and when you are only supposed to be donating if you can, i came from a poor house where my mom should have really kept tithes, but she kept donating money she couldnt afford to because the church took advantage of her

  5. I really wanted to believe about the cards… and then he had to literally show he was full of shit… I’m not religious but I do believe I giving the benefit of the doubt and the good in people but if your gonna blatantly show me your not how can I even try to defend you

  6. Thou shalt not… Fill in the blanks, poor ex pastor Matt. Like all those super-rich evangelical "tithing" grifters. They don't even believe in God! It's why I pray at home.

  7. So… sometimes Im extremely tired and Im in a lot of pain and my child is abnormally hyper while we are checking out. And I will accidentally forget or miss ringing up something. Im stopped amd asked for my reciepr or I realize before I leave, I apologize – pay for it, and go on with my life.

    It's that simple.
