  1. He's thinking about how much progress he's made since prison and how he just threw it all away. He thought he'd get away because its a state trooper but if you're stuck on a highway and nowhere near a city you're not getting away

  2. I mean for what he did, he certainly deserves the sentence, but dude seems like a fairly balanced person, probably broadly appreciated by the community outside of his illegal activities. If we had a proper rehabilitation system seems like that'd be worth looking into for him, if there's some kind of issue causing his criminality.

  3. If you’re gonna run it’s bad enough you’re putting other drivers at risk but good grief don’t involve passengers and certainly not the dog. Edit I actually made this comment before the cop was telling him lol 👍🏻
